I went to this café to drink a wine with my wife, was very cozy and the employees were very attentive. The only thing i didnt like, was the prices, that even for venice they where a little higth. But despite that, its a nice place to go.

This is a typically small Venetian bar/restaurant located in central Venice, about halfway between the Teatro Fenice and the Rialto Bridge on the Calle degli Assassini. It takes a little bit of finding, as does most places in Venice. There are about three tables outside and four smaller ones inside. they do snacks etc. and beers/wines/cocktails of course. The staff... More

I stop in for morning coffee. After 2 weeks venice I tried many different coffee bars. good prices between 1.50 and 2.50 euros. Add 1 euro for table service. Better than most of the coffee places along the main tourist routes. They also serve several fresh fruit shakes... If you staying near I recommend stopping by

We had so much fun here. Very friendly bar staff and great music too. Its only a small place, with basic stuff, but the atmosphere for late night drinks etc was so good we ended up in here every night, on our way back to the hotel.

Great bar to stop for a refreshing drink or hot coffee. Would recommend their campari spritz and toasted cheese and ham sandwich

Ok so it's clean and friendly, not much 'Brasilia' going on. More like lots of Gondola captains have a pre dinner drink. No bad comments here and no Brazilians Just saying!

We poped in around 7pm and sat at the bar. The guys behind the bar were warm and welcoming us to sit anywhere we liked. I got a americano and she got a campari . Both were excellent and our server was very friendly to us. Loved the experience!! Must try!

We love this place! They knew our drinks after the first night - New Year's Eve was a gas! Really nice to be welcomed when you walk in and the Spritz are the best around . Go! Really good value too.

We found this little cafe while walking through a maze of Venetian streets. It looked cosy and inviting. And not overly touristy. You can get there espresso for 1 euro and continue your walk with a boost of energy. They also serve pastries, sandwiches. You can also order other drinks, such as wine or freshly squeezed juice.

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
