I went after friends recommended it, our first night in Venice we spent 25 euros each for one dish and a drink at a local restaurant so finding past for 5-6 euro was a welcome change, There was a long line outside (which is always a good sign) and the turnaround was very fast. Was strange to see pasta in... More

We got this "must try" pasta shop in Venice, and its reputation is a bit "oversold". Great pasta. Loved the marinara sauce with chicken sausage. No so much with the Presto... to rich, oily, and overpowered with grated cheese. The cashier and servers are super friendly and tried to speak your language. In 15 minutes of waiting, we heard they... More

Very good pasta! Only complaint is there is nowhere to sit but it was still very yummy. The people working there are very friendly and helpful!

Looking for dinner and thought we'd check what is nearby on Tripadvisor. Found Dal Moro's and thought we had to try it from all the reviews. It is the freshest and best pasta we've ever had. We thought we'd even eat it while walking around and had others asking us where to get it! We would live on this alone... More

Me and my friends found this place from Trip Advisor. It wasn't difficult to find. The line was really long when we got there but we didn't have to wait for long. Which was surprising. The portions are quite generous. Very quick and efficient service. Thumbs up, would definitely recommend this as a cheap, quick and filling lunch/dinner.

The pasta was homemade and they gave us raw pasta while we waited in line. I ordered the pesto and my friends ordered the four cheese. We LOVED IT. It was so cheap for what you get! Also the staff were so friendly and cheery. Definitely worth the trip!

The best ever pasta in italy and very nice, friendly service. The price is also low on the taste. A must of the Venice.

Staying in Castello

Neighborhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
