Great coffee, great service, get value. (0.9 euro for a cup)

Highly recommend, super friendly staff and good variety. This smokes $3.50 for burnt coffee at Starbucks. this was great and not even 1 euro.

My hotel was located practically next door. I opened my bathroom window and could smell them roasting every morning and fell in love with the aroma. After doing the rounds of Venice it became a ritual afternoon hangout. 2-3 Macchiatos, grab some coffee to take home and wait patiently for the next day to arrive so I could enjoy more... More

The cappuccino here is outstanding! If you are looking for a sit down breakfast place, this is not it. Do not expect more than coffee counter service here and very few pastries.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but thought to try a cappuccino. It was smooth and the service was great! I ended up having two. Might have changed my life. :)

Stopped in for coffee one morning and the aroma was amazing. We had several different drinks. The place was packed and we were still waited on in a timely manner.

This little coffee shop lived up to its reputation. You can smell the amazing coffee beans as you are walking by. My wife and I stopped here twice during our 3 days in Venice, even though it was on the other side of the city from us. The coffee is not only reasonably priced, but it is very very good.... More

Best coffee I've had. Fantastic flavour. Nowhere to sit but that didn't matter. Friendly staff and a big roasting machine.

Try the place , no seating, but really good . Next time I try the dessert. Not far from the station and on the road to San Marco and Rialto bridge.

A nice roaster cafe in Venice, in the morning, it'll be crowded with local and tourist, in the afternoon when I came back the second time of the day is much less crowded. If you like thick hot chocolate, do try!

We went here twice during our 3 day trip and wished we could have stopped in more. We already miss it and don't even want coffee in america anymore. Best coffee stop in all of venice, possibly all of italy. Well at least best out of rome, florence, and amalfi coast, as we haven't been anywhere else in italy, but... More

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighborhood Profile
Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighborhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
