We, like many others, visited torrefazione cannaregio after reading TA and it didn't disappoint. I have to say, without TA and extensive searching I doubt we'd have stumbled across, despite being on a Main Street it is very understated and didn't look open. Once inside however we were warmly greeted by the young Italian baristas and gave advice on which... More

We made a trip to this cafe for breakfast pastry and coffee on each of our mornings in Venice. Based on our few days trying many cafes in Venice, this one had the best coffee. Cafe is only tiny with only one bench chair and no tables - but is aimed at the traditional Italian "coffee at the bar" experience.... More

Had the Venexian, super smooth and tasty. Was so good I had to buy some grounds to take home with me. And so cheap! The barista was lovely, spoke excellent English and even taught my Mum how to ask for her embarrassingly weak cappuccinos in Italian.

This small place is a true coffee place. By a cup at the counter, or bring some beans home. The atmosphere is very nice as well.

My boyfriend really tastes the different between normal and really good coffee and he liked this one a lot and I did too. As it is only 90 cents for a espresso, a normal price, it is extremely good value for money.

Typical tiny bar counter, serving miniscule cups/glasses of espressos etc., this it true Italian style coffee. Cramped, loud, and great fun, this was the best of the coffee only places I tried, a true Venezian experience :) Try the venexian, or really anything in there. Buy some coffee to take home as I did, and you will be smiling for... More

I've drunk a lot of coffee whilst abroad, but the Moretto from here is perhaps one of the best I've ever had, even my girlfriend who doesn't like coffee had to agree. They also sell a wide range of beans (while or ground) including the ones they use in house at a very good rate. Unfortunately as with many places... More

These guys have elevated coffee to an art form. The Venexian is awesome but the Moretto IS TO DIE FOR. And they invented it! Charming place and awesome people. Coffee from another planet. Die die must try!!

The staff is attentive knowledge and passionate about your experience. The food, service, and atmosphere here are all world class. All this comes at a cost which I felt was worth it! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in this lovely restaurant.

I went here the first day I arrived in Venice because of the reviews I saw on trip advisor and had a great cappuccino. I proceeded to have cappuccinos throughout my stay there at several other places, including the Florian, and none of them compared to Torrefazione Cannaregio. Specially for the price (I think I paid 1.40 Euros), it was... More
