Great for a quick coffee!

This cozy little place is perfect for a quick coffee. They don't do take away so you have your coffee standing up at the counter. It's a great experience and full of locals. AMAZING PRICES! You walk in, order your drink at the bar, they make it and you stand there and drink it, and then you pay! If you go early, they have a few yummy pastries to choose from. Plan to come here EVERY DAY and maybe twice a day. Lovely experience.

Coffee here is so good I could drink it every day all day long. They have many blends to choose from and everything tastes so good. Whatever is your drink of choice is - caffe, macchiato, cappuccino ... - you can be sure here you will enjoy it. And the best thing is they sell freshly ground coffee so you... More

An excellent espresso shot for 90c and freshly ground coffee to take home. The place is tiny and can be very busy but the staff were helpful. Difficult to spot if you are not following the street numbers. Worth a trip for the smell of the coffee alone. Apparently the oldest remaining coffee shop in venice the original macinery is... More

We stood by the counter for a LONG time. They served everyone that came in after us. Finally they didn't have any one more to serve, but we still had to ask them three times befor we got any coffe. The coffe was good and the price too. We paid 0,90 for an espresso. Yesterday we went to Cafe Filermo.... More

Its good, not over the top awesome, but good. We tried the Moretto (which is more of a chocolate and creme dessert than a coffee) and a normal capuchino.

This place serves the best coffee i've ever had in my life. The place is not huge, but people come and take their coffee fix and go so it's never really crowded. Its located in Cannaregio so it's a bit far if you're staying at the Rialto or San Marco area. €1,50 for a high quality cappuccino, it's DEFINITELY worth... More

Being from Melbourne, and used to a high quality coffee culture, rolling up in a new city, searching for the good stuff is always a challenging first day. I was pleasantly surprised to find my air-bnb apartment, just around the corner from this great little cafe. The only cafe roasting beans that I saw in Venice. The macchiato was perfect,... More

This café was located next to the our flat. We went there for our morning coffee. The place is cosy and comfortable. You stand at the counter to drink your coffee there is not seating. Each time we went the place was busy. This is an excellent place for an excellent coffee.

We went to locate this place and it was fairly easy when we approached it. We ordered the chocolate mocha and it looked and tasted amazing! I would suggest to go inside to look and smell the coffee beans! Definitely a place to go for coffee fans!

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighborhood Profile
Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighborhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
