Had a nice dinner here on our last night in Venice. The restaurant was able to accommodate us at an earlier time than our reservation, which was perfect because we got to see the sunset from our canalside table. The house wines were very reasonably priced for the quality, and the service was attentive as well. We had the Clams... More

Sit outside along Canal Guidecca and enjoy a wonderful seafood antipasta plate as your Sunday brunch. It's a great place to enjoy the ambiance and people watch the families enjoying life as you are doing.

This restaurant is a Rick Steves favorite and we found out why. The setting, right on the water in Zatterre, is gorgeous. The menu was quite diverse with reasonable prices, especially given the location. Try the vino della casa, incredibly good and cheap, and matched well to their food choices. Overall our best dining experience while in Venice.

We ate here on our last night in Venice. Thinking we'll save the best for last. We have no complaints on food, except for the mazzorella used in our caprese salad. It was not the special type especially considering the status of their restaurant and the price of the food. Other than that, the food was great! One thing to... More

My husband and i stumbled across this place whilst having a relaxing laid back walk just taking in the beautiful streets of Venice. We walked out of a thin alley out into a breathtaking waterfront where this restaurant is situated. We stopped and had a spritz or 2 on their seating over the water watching all of the boats go... We ate here on the second night of our stay after a horrible experience at another restaurant nearby. It was lovely...warm and cosy, with attentive staff. I chose the creamed polenta with shrimp to start and my husband had the bruscetta. Both were served quickly and were hot. My polenta was well seasoned and very tasty! Mains were monkfish with... May be we were not lucky but... We did a lunch stop at this place on a rainy Monday. Restaurant was almost empty. Only 6 customers: 4 french people and us (3). After a very very long waiting time (45 minutes), my wife got her plate (pasta with half lobster). The lobster was not cooked enought and the pasta were... More

On a rainy and windy day on Zattere we noticed that this restaurant had a couple of Italian parties but was otherwise quiet, so popped in. Excellent service - helpful and modest - guided us to an interesting bottle of wine and we ordered shrimps on soft polenta, monkfish and a hazelnut and chocolate souffle. Perfect, truly. Its a bit...
