Venice has a lot of Pizza and gelato cafe's so choices are big. Our tour leader hinted us to one really nice and small one on the way to the Frari Church. They had a Euro 5 deal for a pizza slice, a soft drink and 2 scoops gelato. We were all so hungry the good pizza was gone in... More

We found this lovely little place on our first day in Venice as we were wandering around the San Rocco area and headed to San Polo. We grabbed a couple of gelatos, and they were lovely (and really well priced). After we'd had a wander round, we happened to walk back past this place and because it was getting close... More

It's great at all levels: pizzas are simple but awesome, icecreams are just top. It has a great money/quality ratio. Probably one of the cheapest and tastier pizza and icecream shop in Venice, and it's very very good. Staff is even greater than that. It completes the whole experience.

Our tour guide from Xepat Explore recommended Da Tarcisio for our lunch stop in Venice. We were not disappointed. A big slice of pizza of your choice, 2 scoops of gelato and 1 can of soft drink for only 5 Euro. Both pizza and gelato were tasty and filling. A good stop to grab a quick bite.

Just like any other average ice cream in italy. Don't look for it especially... we sow some other gelateries that looked just as good if not better.

Discovered this five years ago, devoured it again three years ago, gobbled it up today. Damn fine ice cream. My favourite in Venice, and I have greedily stuffed myself with a whole freezer load. Big bold flavours, excellent value. Apparently they do pizzas, but I haven't got past the gelato counter to find out.

Great place for a quick lunch or cheap dinner. Homemade gelato is excellent. Pizza is NY style, tasty and juicy. Grab your food and eat on nearby steps with locals. About 7 euro got us 2 slices of pizza, bottled water, and a pair of 1 cup gelatos.

E1.30 for a very large scoop. Not worth a walk across Venice for, but if you are visiting Frari it is worth popping round the back for an ice cream. Open late as well.

Tried black chocolate and kiwi...what a combo! Creamy, full of flavour. Will have to come back in the next few days to try the remaining flavours :-)
