Amazing! I don't remember the exact names of the gelatos you can choose from, but I do remember they were very distinct but delicious flavors...with some of your basics like vanilla and chocolate. I had the peanut, almond coconut, and Nutella. The only regret I have, is not finding this jewel sooner. We had it the day before our departure.... More

to sit nor to stand to eat your ice cream.I mean that the ice cream is very good close to the best I ever tasted in Italy - rated best 3 on my list of ice cream locations, but after you buy there are a couple of seats just outside. You would think that these belong to La Mela Verde,... More

I had better ice cream in Italy than La Mela Verde. The flavors were impressing and interesting, but not that tasty. It's OK to try it, but it's not my personal favorite.

We assumed that Italian ice cream would be good and we were not disappointed. It was very cheap (EUR 2.50 for two scoops) and is situated by one of the many side street canals so it was very relaxing standing by the canal eating our ice creams. And there are some great flavours to choose from. Unfortunately we only managed... More

Went on our first day in Venice and went back everyday over the 4 days. Exceptional value (€2.50 2 scoops in a cup or cone). Fresh, smooth, creamy and a variety of ever changing flavours. I tried the dark chocolate, pistachio, black forest, sacher torte, and one that tasted like nutella. All exceptional, pistachio tasted like the actual nut (no... More

Fantastic ice cream, very creamy and on par with that I ate in Milan (which is a huge compliment). The price was reasonable, 3.5 Euro for 3 scoops - absolutely recommend the lemon flavour, tastes just perfect! Sadly at the time of my visit there was no 'green apple' flavour so can't comment on the trademark product.

The ice cream here is the best ice cream in town. Tried in many places but none reached to the level of this shop. Strongly recommend

This gelato was really good, not the best I have had but up there. I had tiramisu and the taste was spot on with really smooth creamy gelato. Make a short 5 minute walk from San Marco square you won't be disappointed

While looking for an affordable hotel in Venice (tough job…), I fell upon recommendations of both this gelato and Fontana hotel, as being one near another. After a long day of travelling, we checked in at the hotel and went out to find Mela Verde, 5 min walk. It was sooo tasty, I always have pistachio, and that's the test... More
