Good location, away from most of the tourist traps. It is expensive (all of Venice is) but compared to other places it has a "good" price/quality relation. The staff is great, nice suggestions, lots of patience (we didn't speak Italian and they did their best so we could have a great meal). The food is in a nice quantity and,... More

Came here for an evening meal after a busy day. The waiters were friendly and the service was very quick. The food was good and it wasn't very expensive. Good value for money.

A friend had suggested heading to the Jewish Quarter of Venice for lunch, as it is quieter and less touristy (if that is possible in Venice). After a couple of hours walking down canals and streets we were all hungry by the time we found what was once Venice's Jewish Ghetto. It was a scene of tranquillity with a definite... More

Our hotel reception recommended this pizzeria, as it was round the corner in the Jewish quarter! 5 minutes later we were seated by the owner himself with a lovely glass of proseco! We ordered out meal and couldn't ask for a better service, food was outstanding, atmosphere great and certainly value for money - as it was great quality food!... More

Tucked away alongside a minor canal in Cannaregio, this pleasant little restaurant offered a decent choice of pizzas and pasta a good price with excellent quality and service. Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner if you are in the area and fancy getting away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets.

I ate shrimp pasta with rucola. It was very average. The disappoint part was, this restaurant was recommended by my hotel for the pizza. They also added 2 euro cover charge for the meal. That was surprising.

We were very hungry and Gam Gam was packed so we decided to try this place, although we didn't expect much. I figured that it would be touristy and terrible. The food, the pizza and the wonderful pasta with garlic and olive oil ( fabulous, loads of garlic), hit the spot. We ate outside and the only downside was the... More

I went with my wife to this restaurant. The place was packed and even that we had a fabulous service and really tasty food. They were not Italian but the food was very good and the service excellent. I will recommend to everyone. Thanks Hassan. :0)

Ate here last night, great and friendly. Reasonably priced for Venice! Good variable menu, beautiful homemade warm bread and freshly made pizzas in front of you, my steak Rossini was beautiful too - lovely staff too.

This place is just outside of the ghetto, opposite the ghetto information bureau. There were four of us, and when one asked where the bathroom was, he was told that he could not, as if was for customers only. I should point out that there was little foot traffic in the area, and we were the only patrons in the... More
