The place is nice and cosy and has a nice feel, was a little cold though. But the food was overpriced in relation to the quality the staff were friendly and the bill did arrive with the correct amount on it.

Went here because it was recommended by our hotel and was one of the few places open on Epiphany, and so glad we did. It's small. Make reservations for sure. The 'theme' is Asian/Venetian Fusion ala Marco Polo but it's not as trendy or forced as that sounds. we had one of the best meals of our trip there and... More

One of the very best meals I've had in Venice. Wonderful spot (very tiny) off the beaten track but not far from it (San Zaccaria vaporetto stop/Danieli Hotel area). Try the Asian Seafood Pot.

Me and my sister came across the Luna Sentada because it was just around the corner of our hotel Casa Nicolo Priuli. The interior of the restraunt was warm and welcoming, with rustic brick walls and a romantic dimmed lighting. The owner of the restaurant was very kind and made our two evenings there a great gastronomic experience. The service... More

The best first: This place is really good value, given it's in Venice where, with our two kids, we routinely had to fork out over €150 for a meal with a glass of wine and a starter. So this was quiet, personal and the food was excellent! We appreciated the fusion of Venetian with Asian cooking, and my daughter got... More

If we are being frank, the food in Venice is not world renowned. My boyfriend and I, in an attempt to escape the tourist trap restaurants, walked a little further away from the traditional tourist spots and found Luna Sentada. It is a very small, quaint place off of a canal with a great ambiance. I ordered the dim sum,... More

The food and service was friendly and the food excellent. A fusion of middle eastern and Venetian tastes at very reasonable prices.

I was happy to discover this restaurant during a business trip to Venice this August. Ermanno, the owner, was there and took his time to explain me the menu. The food was great (I had lunch and a refreshing strawberry drink). This cozy restaurant is located by a little river, just outside the most crazy, touristy part of Venice. Recommended!... More

This tiny place on a small canal with its own bridge was recommended by a Venetian colleague who lives in New York. The welcome was warm and the spot adorable. Interesting menu based on the travels of Marco Polo, of all things--hence the Asian and Italian fusion. We found it extremely ambitious and mostly well executed. Excellent reasonable wine list... Before you visit this place, I recommend having a look at the menu, I have never seen a more random menu: there a few Venetian dishes, then some Chinese, some Vietnamese, some italian, some Indian, ... But in the end there is not much choice which is weird. I wanted typical Venetian which left me the choice of either fish... More
