Food was awful and most disgusting toilets

We stopped here for a quick dinner and immediately regretted it. The pizza was easily the worst I've had including shop bought oven ones in the UK. My fiancee had the rissotto that appeared fresh from, presumably, the microwave. A couple sat down next to us as we were eating, saw our food and got... read more

Stopped off during a day of venetian exploring for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. Food was ok...nothing special but not inedible. Overall bill was what we expected and didn't feel like we payed over the top. Waiting staff were not rude but also not overly attentive. Would stop for coffee again but wouldn't run in there for... I have read the negative reviews about the pizza and pasta at Bar Torino, but on a visit to Venice in 2012 my friends and I at lunchtime would buy the tramezzini (Venetian sandwiches with a variety of delicious and generous fillings) and take them back to the apartment where we were staying. We enjoyed these so much that when... More

Food is terrible. Just go next door and grab a croissant or something at Marchine Time instead. This could be your worst food experience in Venice,

I had a Pizza and my wife had a Pasta dish. Both were comfortably the worst we had in Venice. Service was fine and cost was similar to much nicer restaurants. Should of checked it on Trip Advisor beforehand!

Don't even enter this place, it is indeed a rip off. They cannot even make a decent coffee. We asked a tortellini Bolognese and they gave us something bathing in a slippery cheese sauce. This place SUCKS!

Staying in Venice and had lunch at this restaurant today. My husband had the tortellini and I had the cannelloni. My husband also had a coke to drink .... The food was awful - no better than you would get from a Tesco ready-meal. The portions were also tiny. The meals were 7 euros each, while the coke cost 4.50... More

We went to Bar Torino for a quick snack and had two focaccias (half portions that they normally serve in Venice) and two cokes. We noticed the coke was draught with lots of ice (not a bottle or a can). The food was okay but we were ignored when it came to pay the bill. We got up and attempted... More

It was very busy in this place which sometimes is a good sign, but I later realized that the Italians were just having a drink here and only the tourists were ordering food. The quality of food is very bad. I ordered Cannelloni, which came straight out of the microwave and was cold in parts. The sauce looked so unappetizing... More

It really is no good choice! It is dirty, the service unfriendly and slow and the food hardly edible!
