My husband and I stopped in for a quick drink and bite to eat. The staff was less than friendly. They acted like they didn't want to be there or even serve us. I wouldn't go back.
Nice little place that was showing the footy. A pint is 6 euro! But to be expected round here. House red only 2.50 so happy now. Defo recommend
Fell on the "oldest pub in Venice" when I really wanted a real beer, found this Irish/Italian bar with an English flavour that's cheap comparibly and NOT a run of the mill Venetian trattoria, worth a visit even if u only fancy a beer whilst watching the football
Drinks about average price for not far from San Marco Sq. Can recommend the 'roll'(more like a round pitta) with smoked ham, smoked cheese n mushrooms. Bellini's not too shabby either.
Went in here yesterdsy for some pub time...... What I got was loud, aggrresive death metal music, foul language from the staff ..... No thanks. This was the WORST experience.
Very different from most Venice bars and restaurants - a weird English/Irish/Italian hybrid, but very welcoming and cheap. Good drinks menu and nice food, would recommend for a point of difference if you get sick of the Trattoria and Osteria.
Ask for the Italian craft beer - you might have to be a bit persistent but when we went they had a bock from AMA and three (pilsner, special and bock) from Dolomiti. The Dolomiti bock was especially good - much like a very good English best bitter but a little stronger - even though bottom fermented. These were all... More
Found this pub on the first day in Venice and visited it every day during my trip. Pints of larger/Birre in Guiness glasses. The staff are brilliant and the beer cheap by Venice standards. If you want to relax with a pint this is the place to go!! Love it, Relax to the music Blues Rock,,,
Visited for lunch and had a very entertaining hour or so there. Spent time discussing the food options with help from the amusing staff, then eating and chatting afterwards. Has wifi. Thoroughly good fun in Venice's oldest pub!
Had a few beers at this great bar a little hard to find but worth the effort. Good prices and great service plus free wifi.
