Good pub. Nice beer and cocktails. Friendly staff. Having fun. Good for people watching. My wife says the wine portions are too small.

Me and my boyfriend wondered past this pub by chance when lost. we decided to get a drink and use the free wifi to figure out our route. The staff were very friendly and helpful and drinks at a reasonable price. They also have a good selection of ales which is a rare sight in Venice.

Venice is quite cultured and there are few recognisable pubs. This is one of them. Generally has good music. Prices are reasonable and does food at Lunch time. Close to the Rialto bridge but much cheaper

I accidentally ended up in this pub, while i was trying to hide from the rain. I felt lucky afterwards, the place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice food. Especially great if ou are looking for some english speaking company, all the staff members and most of the customers speak english. I enjoyed my time there, definitely will be... More

I found this by accident looking for coffee and a snack. Really nice pub with nice staff. The pasta ragu was really good for pub food and the same gives for sandwiches. Atmosphere was relaxed. Enjoyed my stay

Only Irish bar we found in Venice. Staff were lovely and friendly, every day we were there, we'd go in at lunchtime for a few. The staff always greeted us, welcoming us back and knew our order we'd have. On our last day they welcomed us behind the bar for a picture with them. Really nice guys, good tea, and... More

Found this pub by accident as it is hidden in the backstreets but loved it. A mix of Irish English Scottish American Canadian and Venetian. Good ale selection however not cheap compared to England- Guiness and Kilkenny bitter is €7 per pint and diet coke €3 but still recommend for atmosphere and music.

Great atmosphere if your looking for a pub in Venice. They play soccer matches and will play NFL if you sit and drink (key is to tip)

Nice bar to stop and have some refreshment whilst walking around the busiest part of Venice. The seating is reserved for people who want to eat between certain times but there are bar stools if you just want a drink. they also have a live web cam where people back home can log on and see you in the bar... Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
