Great fun, ok food

We had dinner here our first night in Venice since it was very close to our hotel. The bartenders were lots of fun, they danced to Stayin' Alive together. Beer & wine good, we shared a sandwich that was tasty & filling.

This British pub was very close to our hotel and we enjoyed drinks after dinner here one night while we were on our honeymoon. My only regret is we discovered it our last night in Venice so I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Venice. Staff was friendly and good selection of beers and cocktails!

Great welcome, good place for British drinks and atmosphere. Good food available too. Although we didn't eat the burgers looked amazing. Coffee was great too and in evening had most amazing Gin and Tonic. Great music. Also in good location - visited twice.

Stopped here for a beer and was happily surprised. Prices are fair , wine is good and several different beers on tap. The staff is friendly. 2 drinks and a sandwich for 15e pretty decent. Had some old Elvis Presley playing when we arrived, and then some blues.

The bar staff is very friendly and accommodating. The pub is a nice size for hanging out and enjoying some fantastic beer. They have Kilkenny on tap here which is one of the best crafted beers of all time. Grab a Kilkenny or two and enjoy.

Stopped in here for a few drinks and loved it. Bartender was awesome and the sordi and all in paninis were fantastic. Much better than the touristy places in the surrounding area and reasonable prices.

A nice pub to have a drink in but I wouldn't have a meal there. Not that the quality of food is lacking ,but the place was so packed at lunch (and quite possibly in the evenings), it took ages for the food to arrive from the kitchen. People seemed quite happy with their burgers and sandwiches and lasagnas an... More

Great bar if you are looking to escape cafe bars. Friendly staff. Cheaper prices and a relaxing atmosphere. Visited it twice and would visit again. Also serves food.

Welcoming staff, friendly customers, very fresh beer (Kilkenny was sweet like milk) and a good house wine. MTV Classics or football at the TV... I think I want to stay here...

After being in Italy for almost a week, we were ready for a break from pasta and pizza. This was perfect! We were really craving a burger and we left very satisfied! The fries are delicious too. It's reasonably priced especially compared to the rest of Venice. It's a bit hidden so we were able to escape the tourist crowds... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
