We recently ate at this restaurant on our trip to Venice. Food was average, however we found waiters to be unfriendly. The worst part of our dining experience was a cheap touristy trick they played on us. The reason we picked the restaurant was their apparently reasonable prices. However, we were shocked to receive a big fat check in the... More

We evidently ate here while in Venice but when I saw it on our credit card bill less than two weeks later, I couldn't remember a thing about the meal, or even that we had been there. My husband tried to jog my memory, saying "Remember, we kept asking for sparkling water and the waiter kept forgetting to bring it?"... More

We found this restaurant in "Let's go Italy" and really enjoyed the food which also comes at a very good value not something you necessarily find in Venice

Pastas were devoured all round and the service was very pleasant. Perfect for a quieter evening meal with the family or with friends and a couple of bottles of red wine.

Food was average. Service was OK. But the waitress was not clear when question was asked. When she said" you have choice of salad or vegetables ", I asked her, these are included? She said yes. But later when she presented the bill, she charged us 7 euros for what was suppose to be our choices. English language got switched... More

The restaurant is about half way between St.Marks plaza and the Rialto bridge. It is on one of the many small streets that have many small pizzeria and trattoria. We enjoyed spaghetti bolognese, lasagna bolognese, and sea bass. All were good and the sea bass was outstanding, The waiter was excellent and the restrooms clean. It was fairly priced especially... We ate here our first night in Venice. We were a bit leery once we were seated as the place does not appear to be operated by Italians. My son and I both had pasta and my wife ordered the chicken breast (longing for something with a little less carbs after a week of pasta). Both the Tortellini that my... More

This is what we learned from eating out in Venice….. Avoid the restaurants on the beaten tracks, with persuasive waiters rushing out as soon as they see you reading the menu. Many of them seem to be run by people from shores far distant from Venice, churning out a very poor imitation of Italian food. Don't be tempted by the... More

I've been to Venice a number of times and find the food can be a bit hit and miss. I think this restauraunt is great (at least 5 times over 3 years -most recently the 6th January 2014) and very well priced for it's location. The food is nice and reliable - personally I think their pasta is better than... More
