Best Mozzarella!

We found this place by accident and managed to get the last table. The food was divine and it was the best mozzarella ever. We tried to go back the following day but it was fully booked. We also tried their sister restaurant which was almost as equally good.

We had a wonderful meal here on a nice summers night. The location was perfect on a quiet street near our hotel and away from the main tourist areas. We were happy to see many Italians dining along side us. The service was impeccable and quick. We each had very good steak, potatoes, appetizers and drinks. For dessert we tried... More

We had been recommended this restaurant and it definitely lived up to expectations. Both ordered steak dishes - delicious! Highly recommend a visit.

Thx again Trip Advisor! This was a great restaurant with really fresh food & amazing homemade desserts. Almost exactly in the middle of Venice so accessible for everyone with 10-15 minute walk. Made our last night in Venice very memorable.

We stopped here for lunch after shopping and exploring in Venice. Our server was very attentive and the food was very good - we ordered salad and pizza and there was more than enough for the price. Two lunches with water, appetizers, salad, and pizza was around 50 euros.

We were staying between Rialto and Saint Marcs Sq, so took a boat ride and a walk to reach this restaurant. The restaurant was busy unlike most near the main tourist centre where our hotel was located. The whole food range looked excellent, as everything coming to other tables only served to wet our appetite. We chose 2 antipasti dishes... More

Excellent food, rapid service, novel pizzas and other dishes. All of our four dishes were delicious. Prices were most reasonable. A gem in Venice.

This restaurant had been recommended by our hostess. We had asked her where she would eat and this was one of several places she recommended. It was not the easiest place to find but with the help of the iPad maps app we found it. The menu is varied but we all opted for pizza (as you do when in... More

We went here to celebrate my 24th birthday. The food was delicious and the servers are very friendly. They are also very good at English. We started with the seafood appetizer/sampler that was incredible. The rest of our meals were very good. This place doesn't have the best view of the water but besides that we give it two thumbs... Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
