MOdern decor, good food

We found this place while walking around the neighborhood. It had a kind of modern/hip feel to int inside which is very different from the feel you get walking around in Venice. The food was good as was the service.

We had booked this restaurant in advance as we had heard it was a great place for dinner but on arrival the staff gave us the cold shoulder. They barely came to see if we were okay and were very unfriendly. This was unfortunate as the food was lovely, especially the starters. The pizza I had was average, while my... More

Local acquaintances took us to this restaurant and it was a wonderful surprise. It was a busy night but the staff were very correct. On advice we took the tartare. I can still remember the smell of the spices as they were going in... Would recommend

We hadn't made a reservation but got their early enough to get a table but the entire restaurant was full by the time we left. Unfortunately we skipped entree... More

Walked 20 minutes from st mark's square to the restaurant. Had the seafood platter and pizza. It was alright and the moscato is good. Ask for the moscato as it is not listed on menu. The meal came up to euro 49. Overall pleasant experience. Come at 7pm as it gets crowded by 8pm

This is a very comfortable restaurant with truly excellent pizza. I plan to go back and try other dishes. I had the pizza diavolo, which was the perfect antidote to a hot summer night.

We had a wonderful meal here on a nice summers night. The location was perfect on a quiet street near our hotel and away from the main tourist areas. We were happy to see many Italians dining along side us. The service was impeccable and quick. We each had very good steak, potatoes, appetizers and drinks. For dessert we tried... More

We had been recommended this restaurant and it definitely lived up to expectations. Both ordered steak dishes - delicious! Highly recommend a visit.

Thx again Trip Advisor! This was a great restaurant with really fresh food & amazing homemade desserts. Almost exactly in the middle of Venice so accessible for everyone with 10-15 minute walk. Made our last night in Venice very memorable.

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
