Probably not the best pizzas in Venice, but the rest is very good. We tried the lasagna, the fried squid, the mussels, ham with roquette salad, all nice! The vino della casa is excellent! I recommend.

Found on Trip Advisor. Worth finding. Just off main route between Castello and St Marco. Very traditional pizza. Clearly homemade. Great flavour. Random decor in the restaurant but really nice at the same time. Recommended

My mother, brother and I arrived in Venice unsure of what to expect. We all eat gluten free for medical reasons and spent endless hours on the internet mapping out places we might try. Lo and behold, there was a restaurant around the corner from our hotel that was delicious and amazing! I think we ate there 5 times in... More

We were in Venice for a couple of weeks and had dinner here several times. It was one of our favourite places for dinner. The waiter recommended the plates of the day which were consistently delicious. We look forward to going back here the next time we're in Venice.

We found this little restaurant while wandering Venice after an evening concert. We chose the tourist menu which was three courses for 18 euros. We both went for the seafood spaghetti starter which was delicious. For main course I had the pork chop which was ok and my husband had the liver which he said was lovely. The pudding was... More

It was pouring rain and we didn't want to wander far from our hotel. The Concierge recommended a restaurant a half a block away. We went there and it was ridiculously overpriced and the menu was boring. So we decided to brave the weather and a few blocks away we found this restaurant. It was packed, it smelled incredible, it... More

Al vecio portal is a nice restaurant in the heart of Venice. The location is great, the service and price very good (remember: you are in Venice!). Unfortunately the food was average at best. I would say not very tasty or interesting. A good tourist spot for a quick bite, nothing more.

Had spaghetti with seafood and spaghetti with meat and then fried calamari and seafood. Everything was really good. Price was 21€ each.

We came here on recommendation of our hotel - A Tribute to Music Residanza. They were right on the mark! I believe the owner ran the restaurant - or at least he acted like it, in a good way. He recommended three dishes for the two of us, split each dish personally, and each was great. Wine was excellent, and... More
