We actually have been there twice in a roll. Just as good as other Venetian restaurants we found in Venice. Osteria Ae Spezie is a place to drop by for quick lunch or dinner date. We had Baccala Mantecato and Schie Con Polenta to start. Tagliolini with Truffle cream and Gamberi is my number one favorite. Waiters are so friendly... More

The linguini in cream sauce with shrimp was one of the best meals in italy! Friendly service and great wine! Great outdoor seating and ambience.

The waiter was excellent and the black seafood risotto was out of this world. Not far from San Zachariah but away from the noise. Highly recommended.

Wandering aimlessly around Venice and getting hungry.....found this spot. Really nice wait staff.......helpful, English was good, great variety on menu. Belinnis were fabulous.....had spaghetti bolognase (I know I spelled that wrong!), caprese, panna cotta.....others had the canneloni, tiramisu .......all great......expensive but delish. Returned the next night and we were taken very good care of again!

Dinner here was the best meal we ate in Venice. The liver Venetian style was wonderful, as was the cannelloni. Marvellous tiramisu. Delightful and charming waiters. Not cheap but fully worth the money.

Found this restaurant while walking. Stopped in for an early dinner on our last night in Venice. Food was outstanding, service wonderful. We arrived about 4:30. They were not really ready to serve dinner when we arrived so we asked the waiter to just make something up by his reccomendation. Certainly did not disappoint!! Homemade breads were fantastic too. Ambiance... More

The staff is very nice, personable, and speak fluent English. They are patient and explain things to you if you don't understand. The food, INCREDIBLE!! I ate the canelloni with spinach both times I went. Their dessert is amazing too!! I tried the tiramisu and the pana cotta, and the pana cotta was my favorite. Their bellinis are house bellinis,... Found this place while walking in an area with a number of good options, sad we picked this place. Although reasonably priced both entrees - Mediterranean fish (which was fried calimari and one shrimp) and lobster ravioli, which had little lobster in a bland red sauce, were disappointing. Waitstaff friendly. Spend money elsewhere.

Our nearby hotel recommended this restaurant. We have eaten here twice. Both meals were delicious and reasonably priced. My husband and I ordered two appetizers, two pastas, two desserts, and "still" (non-carbonated) bottled water. We did not need to order a main dish, and did not order wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. The... More

We were so happy to find this place after having been to several mediocre, overpriced restaurants. The waiter was absolutely charming. He had great recommendations and was very personable. The food was great and compared to other places we visited, very reasonable. It felt more like a neighborhood restaurant than a tourist draw which we appreciated. We liked it so... More
