Two tips: Ristorante “Carpaccio,” (ristorantecarpaccio.com) though with an addrerss on the main drag, Riva Schiavoni, is a gem, in a rare, a tad secluded, setting. Food, service and mostly THE SITE made for a perfect dining experience.

On the main Schiavoni waterfront but has no direct view of the water and Giudecca. Pasta of fresh Porcini mushrooms and baby shrimp superb combination of flavors with smell of brine. Split a dish between wife and me. Garden salad in olive oil Was fresh lightly dressed and excellent. The mixed seafood was dazzling. Sole, monk fish, a langostino, sea... More

Nice location but the worse meal we had in our 4 days in Venice. Very average food at a very high price where everything is extra. Fish was small size, dry and had bones (about all that goes wrong with fish). There are so many good places to eat do not use this one.

This restaurant is in a lovely location and the service was very prompt but sadly there was little on the menu I could eat since I am allergic to shellfish. I finally chose the sea bream which was described as being served with herbs a fried vegetables. The fish was dry and not filleted well so full of bones and... More

The Risotto was good. Only good news of these 2 hours spent in this restaurant. The location, the atmosphere and the menu are very promising, the result is terrible. After 20 minutes, 2 bottles of water on the table, but with only 2 glasses for 5 people, and still no menu in the hands. When you order some fish of... More

We only ate here once, on shore from a cruise ship. what we found when looking for a good (recommended by locals) restaurant, this one was recommended. It was a very short walk along the docks/water taxi dock, but to the much less crowded right side, rather than left, extremely crowded, bridge of sighs direction. located directly on a canal,... We were staying at the Bucintoro hotel, and Stefano recommended us the Carparccio restaurant. We ate there 3 times. We had e.g. the sea food appetizer which was excellent, the chateau briand, also excellent, and they served us gluten free penne pasta bolognese, which was not even on the menue. Not cheap, but expected when you take the location in... More

This restaurant is located just a short stroll from Hotel Bucintoro and is often recommended by the staff as worth a visit. I would not disagree, i found it, pleasant and excellently located, the food is quite varied but as most places in Venice heavily Fish biased. the food is presented well and of a decent amount, it is i... I'd like to start by saying that the negative reviews for this restaurant are not warranted! Our hotel (Bisanzio) recommended this restaurant to us and we were not disappointed in the slightest. We pre booked our table as we wandered along the waterfront for later on that evening. And they were good to their word and kept our table for... More

I traveled from Rome to Positano to Tuscany to Venice and this restaurant was the MOST expensive place I went to. The food was delicious, but I was not impressed with the service or the price of the food. Other restaurants I visited were much less expensive and food was just as good. I probably would not recommend this place... More
