From the moment we were met at the door until we left, this was a great experience. The attention by our waiters was first class, especially the food and wine recommendations. I had a lobster pasta which was quite reasonably priced and it was first class. I would suggest that this be a restaurant to visit in Venice.

We went here at the recommendation of our hotel. We took a gondola to the restaurant. The interior was nice and traditional. The food was very good with good service. I thought the prices were fairly reasonable for Venice.

My family and I went for dinner one night and were able to walk in off the st. The decor is traditional and has a nice outdoor area. There was a full range of pre-fix meal options ranging in price from affordable to decadent. We ordered al a cartè. Venice can be expensive and this was affordable just steps from... More

ate dinner here 4 years ago and it was average. however my cousin knows the owner and so we thought we would give it another try. the owner "Nino" was back in the kitchen and his daughter was tending to the customers. We had a terrific caprese salad with the freshest mozzarella I had on the whole 2 weeks in... More

So disappointed in this restaurant. It was my 40th birthday and we wanted a nice meal. We ordered a bottle of barbera, but they had run out so we had dolcetto instead (which I actually prefer). No problem. The server suggested fresh pasta as a starter and grilled sea bass as a main dish, so my daughter got the ravioli... More

We had dinner at Ristorante Ai Due Vescovi a week ago with another couple and it was unanimous that this restaurant was the very worst we have ever been to (Italy or anywhere else for that matter). Let's start with the rude staff, then we can talk about the horrible food, and then out of all of Italy a bad... More

Ate here on our first night in Venice and we were very disappointed. The mixed fish appetizer had mussels au gratin that all au gratin. The octopus and shrimp on the platter were very good while the coquille st. jacques was not good at all. My wife had the grilled giant prawn main dish and they served 4 prawns without... More

Ate here on our first night as recommended by reception of our hotel and was very pleased. Had caprese salad to start, which was great and then for main course I had gnocchi with tomato sauce which was very nice. It was all washed down with a few glasses of vino (well when in Italy). The main thing we weren't... More

Arrived at the restaurant on a Sat eve at 21.20hrs. When we were seated and looked at the menu we had a question on one of the dishes and were told we had to hurry coz the kitchen would close at 22.00hrs. We should have been told that as soon as we entered the restaurant coz from then on we... More

Been to Venice loads of times but never found Ai Due Vescovi before! Directed here by our hotel staff, we were a little wary at first. But the staff are very polite, smiley and helpful and most speak good enough English to make visitors comfortable. The food is very Venetian and cooked with skill and passion. The wines match the...
