My wife and I went here on advice from this website. We ducked in just before a storm hit and I'm so glad we did. The interior is simple and sleek, classy, but romantic. The waiter, an older gentleman, was attentive and helpful. The mixed seafood appetizer was fresh and wonderful and interesting - a fitting prelude to the best... More

Ribot was our first meal in Venice and in Italy during our 14 night honeymoon. We enjoyed the meal. The food was fresh and tasty and the wine was good. We were recommended to Ribot by our hotel. My husband had the Gnocchi special and I had spaghetti with clams. The clams were fresh and tender and the sauce had... More

The service was great. We ordered 6 dishes those ordered from their special menu were great those ordered from the Venetian menu were not up to standard. Shame as I was looking forward to the pasta with squid ink and it left me less than satisfied. Still it's worth it you stick to their specialties.

We booked ahead for a Monday evening as it was my partner's birthday. We were seated out in the garden which was very pleasant. The restaurant has a romantic and sophisticated vibe. We asked the waiter to recommend a red wine which would go well with fish and he suggested a local wine which was nice and light. For starters... More

A lovely evening eating delicious food well served in garden setting. Would return. Might have been the best gnocchi I had in Italy.

The food and portions were disappointing. There were 3 of us in our party and we all agreed that the amount of food and the quality of the food did not match the price of the food. Definitely overpriced! There are many restaurants in Venice that are much better than this one.

Had a very nice meal for two. The pasta was good and the meat cook perfectly. The food here was relatively simple but done well with choices to suite everyone , good wine and good service. if you are planning an evening in Venice I think this is a really safe bet for a nice reasonably priced evening. A two... More

In a city where people and the food can be indifferent, this restaurant stands out. We had a lovely meal in the pleasant garden at the rear. Service was attentive and excellent. The price was reasonable for 3 courses, wine and coffee. Off the beaten track but well worth it.

Had the cod mouse and sardines starter with Polenta twice, really lovely. Had fillet of beef in Valpolicella source which at 15 euro was a bargain, my wife had Hake that night which was absolutely perfect. Loved it so much we went back for second night which was handy as we stayed next door. Compare the prices with the tourist... More

We chose this restaurant because of the reviews and the fact that it was close to our hotel (it is within a few blocks of the train station near the Papadopoli Park). We called and asked for an outside table and they said "everyone is outside! The restaurant is a small family run place, and the garden is full of... More
