I think we picked up this recommendation from one of the major newspaper's websites and it was just around the corner from our hotel. Really excellent food, beautifully presented and really nice service. Everything on the menu looked good so we just went for a couple of shared starters plus a busara pasta dish and then pork cheeks and John... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel so we did a little research and decided to go. In a small side street in Venice this little place is out of the main tourist areas. The menu was very simple, three courses with a selection of choices. All courses we chose were fabulous. It's also very reasonably priced for Venice. 3... More

As one might be want to do in a city like Venice, we found ourselves wandering aimlessly yet happily...with no real idea as to where we were. So happens, a little out of the path of the busier sections sits this quaint little restaurant, easily missed if not for the sudden realization that we were famished (1pm). A few window... More

We came for a late dinner at the suggestion of our hotel, like many others it would seem! We all ordered various homemade pastas and were pleasantly surprised. My ragu was full of flavour with perfectly cooked al dente pasta. Service was fine, bill relatively reasonable.

I was feeling hungry and it was already late, kitchen closes at 10:30 PM and it was no problem, owner and 2 waiters were very friendly, ate swordfish, was very good, wine relatively cheap compared to other places, worthwhile eating.

2nd restaurant recommended by the Hotel Moresco, but it food was far less better than the 1st restaurant (Osteria Ae Cravate). We ordered Spaghetti Vongole and Squib in black (so far, everyone says, must try!). However, we found taste - so-so. Just ok, but nothing really spectacular. Order a glass of wine to share, which waiter gladly pour into 2... More

Having read TA reviews for this little restaurant, I thought it would be a great place for a romantic meal as it was just around the corner from our hotel. Now, i'm not sure if I was simply expecting too high of a standard, but for 120 euros for two of us to eat I did at least expect a... More

Delicious! One of the best meals we had in all of Italy. The service was among the friendliest as well. The restaurant was suggested by our hotel and we were not disappointed. Everyone had different dishes including pasta and fish. The prices and portions were reasonable. Very good wine recommendations as well. I wish we could have eaten here more... More

this ristorante was suggested by one of the folks working at the hotel we were staying at. We loved it! It was 3 couples. We all had different items from the menu and they all were outstanding. It was a nice atmosphere and very good service. We liked it so much we were going to go back the next day,but... More
