We had a nice evening meal here. The food was perfectly nice, good quality but the prices were much too expensive for what you get. We had starters, main course (fish) but no dessert and a decent bottle of wine and paid €160. We paid much more here than we did in a fantastic Grand Canal hotel restaurant where the... More

We were lucky enough to eat at this restaurant twice on our visit to Venice. It is situated in a lovely sunny square just far enough away from the crowds of San Marco. Everything we ordered was delicious, the standouts were calamari that melts in your mouth, seafood risotto packed full of seafood and all the deserts. The staff were... More

Lunch outdoors on a beautiful sunny day was a very pleasant experience here. The mussel soup looked spectacular when it arrived topped with pastry and the just-cooked mushroom risotto was creamy and delicious. Service was professional and friendly. Definitely recommended.

This restaurant aims for a "higher class" of clientèle (for example no pizza in the evening). There are plenty of better more authentic places to eat for lower prices. We didn't think it was worth the extra.

We went with four (2 adults & 2 children). The food and the service were excellent, really above average with what we saw. The privé is set accordingly, but it is justified. The menu is only in Italian but we received a lot of explanation from the maître d'H. Although this restaurant may be classified in the better ones, the... More

First of all it was a little difficult to know what to order, the menu isn't in English (can't really blame them too much for this, more our fault for not knowing much of the language for the country we were visiting). However, when we were finally served by the one waiter who actually spoke some english we were able... More

There is nothing we could possibly dislike about this restaurant and suspect that bad reviews are from diners who themselves are pushy or rude. We first discovered A Beccafico two years ago. We had arrived at our apartment late and it was 10.25pm when we saw this restaurant open in the Campo San Stefano, just a couple of minutes away.... More

The service was great, every one is very helpful. To start they served us two brusccheta as courtesy and after that we order a "melona con precchuto di parma" (18 euros), that was great, impossible to go wrong, wright ? After that we order two pastas one with shrimps and one pomodoro (20 and 15 euros respectively)... the only word... More

Walking past you might think that this is a typical Venice tourist trap - lots of seats outside, pizza on the menu etc In fact this is a top rate restaurant serving fabulous food at quite reasonable prices for this quality of food. Inside the tables are beautifully set, there is plenty of space, service is immaculate and the food... More
