Based on what I read (after being there) we were lucky... A very normal and neutral experience. Food was ok, service as well. Prices are high but can be understood by situation next to Rialto and the Grand Canal. I would not comeback as I believe better alternatives can only exist.

After having sat down at a table by the canal for a light lunch, we were FORCED to leave and sit on a different table as we "had only ordered pizzas"! There were multiple unoccupied tables right by the water for the entire time we were sat down.... After eating an extremely average meal and putting up with poor service,... More

Totally agree with the rest of the reviews and the fact that they still act this way after all the bad attention shows that they don't care. Myself and my partner flew into Venice for our honeymoon from Australia and didn't arrive at our hotel until 11pm, we quickly went out to grab a small amount of food -feeling jet... More

Food was very average and very expensive, service meh. As tempting as it is to want a meal by the canal maybe just stick to a drink and head into the alleys to discover somewhere less tourist trappy for some proper food

We ate here as we wanted to sit down with a nice view of the Grand Canal - you can't get closer than some of the tables right next to a railing alongside the Grand Canal. But that is the best thing about this restaurant and the food and service we experienced were below par. Whilst my wife's pasta seemed... More

I have read many reviews on here regarding the service but I found the waiting staff to be absolutely fine. The food was ok but I went in with an open mind and didn't compare to other restaurants we had eaten at in Venice. The place is based at tourists wanting to eat by the rialto bridge and watch the... Florida restaurant in the San Polo district offers beautiful canal-side dining and views of the Rialto Bridge, but don’t expect an inventive menu or delicious food for the foodie. Again, you are paying for view and ambiance. I ordered grilled chicken (served with French fries for some reason) while others tried the pizza and chicken curry and tiramisu. It was... More

I chose to eat at this restaurant because of its location by the Grand canal however this was the worst decision of my holiday! I wish I had read the reviews before as they all speak for themselves. The food was bland and tasted like it has been heated up. I wouldn't feed this food to my cat! The portions... More

What a surprise this little place is! Beside the Grand Canal the view is wonderful, the food & service were great and affordable. Who would have guessed. We highly recommend you visit and they don't change. We'll be back!

The food was cold and not the quality pasta that you expect in Italy, the servants were rude, after you decide to seat they rush you to finish your meal!!!Too expensive to what you get!!! And in the end they charge 12% in service!!!

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
