It has been a few years since my trip to Venice in Jan. 2009 but this spot was one I still think of fondly. I visited here at least 4 times during my 7 day visit. I only sat outside along the canal but it was lovely. Birds would visit. Gondalas went buy and the pizza was my favorite. I... More

The location close to the Rialto is great....although the views from many of the outdoor tables are obstructed. It is (perhaps understandably) over-priced because of its location.....but what is inexcusable is their treatment of customers. We arrived around 3pm looking for a (late) light lunch and a drink. The restaurant was not busy and the majority of the outdoor tables... More

The location couldn't be better, just steps from the Rialto Bridge and right on the Grand Canal. The food was good but a little over priced for what we had. But given the view of the canal it was worth every penny. The service was very good with a very attentive wait staff.

We arrived into Venice around 10pm. We were interested in a smaller dinner so asked for 1 pasta entree and drinks. We were treated extrememly rudely and screamed at for not wanting to order more food. The waiter continued to pressure us to order additional food we had no interest in. At that point we quickly decided to forget the... More

We went to the Ristorante Florida on Thursday 12th June 2014. We had decided to go to this restaurant in the evening to watch the World Cup football game but, as with all the restaurants on this strip, we got hounded and asked by a waiter to eat there too if we're coming to watch the football. We ordered drinks... More

My mom was tired from all the walking so we decided to sit down on this restaurant to rest for a bit and get drinks. The restaurant was not full so we thought we would not be taking away other customer's space if we just sit down to drink. Unfortunately, we were told that we are not allowed to order... More

Like us, you’ll get what you deserve if you choosing to eat at this place. Placed in a row of canal side restaurants with a great view of the Rialto Bridge, this place doesn’t need to try hard to fill its seats with gullible tourists. The serving staff and the chef don’t have customer service or satisfaction in their vocabulary... More

Do not eat here. I got a terrible dose of food poisoning. Nearly ruined our trip! I was out with my fiancée for dinner and we decided to try one of the restaurants near the Rialto Bridge. Florida looked nice and the waiters weren't as pushy as elsewhere. How looks can be deceiving. Stay away. Stay away. Stay away!

Location is great but still - how can anyone justify to serve crap quality while taking Michelin star level prices. I probably have had worse food somewhere (but of course never in Italy), and I have payed higher prices in some top restaurants, but I have never ever experienced anything with this poor price/performance. Chocking bad ! Stay away and... More

We had an exelent service by Vittotio. He fulfilled any of our wishes, including a sauce the kitchen did not know (Sause Hollandaise for our fresh aspargus). When the electrical heaters were too much they were switch off. When we wanted a part of the main menu as a starter, it was cun in half, and so was the price.... More
