A pizza and a pasta the way they should be. Good food for reasonable prices (and a great and cheap Aperol Spritz too...), perfect for lunch.

I booked this restaurant over a month in advance as I'd read on Trip-advisor that is was one of the top restaurants in the San Marco Area. It opens at 7pm and our table was ready and waiting for us.....the menu offers a great variety, with some wonderful pizzas on offer as well as fish, meat and pasta dishes. The... More

Went here on our first night in Venice to get our first taste of Italian pizza. Da Mamo did not disappoint! We got two pizzas for two people. The pizza were big and we didn't finish them but was worth it to get to try a white sauce pizza and red sauce one. We had a reservation and there was... More

After reading all the comments on Trip Advisor we decided to make a reservation to have dinner in Da Mamo. The expectations were very high as all the comments were positive. We both ordered pasta and the food was good but nothing special (the desert was very good). The best of the meal were the waiters, all of them very... More

We went to "Da Mamo" at 14h, waited 5 minutes for table and after those 5min everything was excelent. Pizza, insalata and waiter who, altrugh it was crowded, found a minute for children and made them lough and offerd to cut pizza in slices. I can recomend as a good stop in Venize tour.

We read great review for Da Mamo on Trip Advisor before our trip to Venice, and we decided to stop by for lunch. We were so glad that we did! Just writing this review makes me want to go back. We ordered one pizza to share and that was fine. The pizza was delicious, and we both agreed after visiting... More

I would highly recommend Da Mamo as a reasonably priced pizza place in Venice. Nice pizzas and other classic dishes and lovely wines. Attentive staff. Minor quibble is the very small tables but its a very small space.

Trattoria da Mamo is a beautiful place with tasty Italian cuisine, friendly personnel and very cosy atmosphere. The food was very delicious (especially sea-food pasta and mixed salad) and the guys serving us were very attentive and created a very pleasant mood. The place is a good value-for-money and is really worth visiting once you are in Venice.

Not only was this less cost than another '5* restaurant' we appraised on here during our trip to Venice, the portions were a good man-size too! This is a tiny restaurant, worth booking, great waiter service, AMAZING food, great wine! I took my girlfriend (lucky girl) and we had a brilliant romantic meal together Worth every penny!

Waited 1 hour for our table, so thought it was worth the wait. Seated within 20cm of the next table, service was interesting. Our "hands-on" waiter was all over my 12 year old daughter. Back off buddy, behavior like yours maybe ok in Bangladesh but not in my country. Pizza was very salty but good. Good quality wines by the... More
