We went there with a group who offered a lunch for 20euro/person which included 'drinks'. When we arrived there the 'drinks' were on the table. They gave us ä cheap fake Cola (Ben Cola) and some bad taste wine. The food was cheap too. There was a plate with 3 types of spaghetti. Spaghetti bolognese had no meat and the... More

Nothing to complain about, we went with a group of 27 and the food was excellent. Fairly basic but very tasty and plenty of it. Lots of wine, the red was very drinkable. Staff efficient and friendly. Interesting owner!

We were taken here by a tour guide group for a "special price". What we got wasn't special. We were promised free flowing beverages and wonderful Venetian food. We got one bottle of red and one of white-for a table of 10 people, a choice of over cooked lasagna, cheese pizza, or pasta with meat sauce (no Venetian Seafood!), and... More

This is a restaurants mainly for groups. As soon as we walked in we noticed a strong sewage smell coming from the toilets. That really takes your appetite out. After we asked a waiter what this smell was, they sprayed something and it got a little better at least in the dining room where we were sitting. Some people went... More

Weaving in and out of narrow streets, not far from the Rialto Bridge is where the Canaletto is almost hidden. We have been taking groups of 50+ professional people there in the past few years. This place, frequented by locals, serves simple yet tasty traditional Venetian dishes. The owner is most accommodating to dietary needs and special requests, even when... More

We visited this ristorante after seeing it profile on a Samantha Brown travel program. There claim to fame was food and a wine glass as large as your head! At that time for a bottle of wine costing 50 Euros they woould use the large glasses. Our group of 5 had a a wonderful presentation of "curing" the large glasses... More

We were visiting Venice just for the day and did not want to spend too much time finding somewhere suitable and reasonably priced for lunch. This place could be booked for just 15 Euros for a two course lunch with wine. Perhaps the price should have warned us not to expect too much! The pizza was OK, the sweet very... More

We ate here at the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel. We ordered 2 pizzas and a glass of wine. Scandalously, the bill was 37 euros!! The coperto was 2 euros, and the wine was a rip off. We had ordered a half carafe of house wine and we were told that it would come in a bottle and... More

Stumbled in for a nightcap after having dinner at another restaurant. The place looked like it had quite a few locals. We ended having a great time just drinking and chatting it up with the owner. He and his staff staff were friendly and we had a lot of fun. What else to do on vacation?

If you want to be attacked by a dog belonging to one of the customers, be served by a man who has just fed food to the same dog and not washed his hands or listen to the windbag called Silvio, then this is the place for you. Terrible? Just awful and never even apologised for the digraceful behaviour. Luckily... More
