This restaurant is a real tourist trap! we were only done once during our five days in Venice and it was at this place. My Sardines were so small they were hidden under a strip of onion and my main course of mixed fried fish was small, unappertizing and 90% fried Calamari and a very small amount of other fish.... Cant understand the negative reviews .... our party of four ate twice here and just loved it both times - the staff were superb and recognised us on our return visit - they even remembered what we had for dinner on the first evening. Outside tables are the best - but wherever you eat it, the food is amazing and... More

We booked at lunch for that evening, and were welcomed and seated promptly and efficiently. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, even though the place was packed. Food was good - we mixed from the 17 and 21 euro menus, and all plates were left clean. Price was OK - much cheaper than similar quality restaurants closer to the more... More

We went in at lunchtime and booked a table for two at 7.30pm on out last night in Venice with a smiling waitress who said she looked forward to seeing us. When we arrived, we noticed that the atmosphere was very quiet and sullen, with hardly anyone eating, so had a sense of impending doom for a long wait. However... More

Avoid this place at all costs. We waited 40mins to be served, the food was sub-standard (olive oil tossed through spaghetti - yuk!) and when we said that we wouldn't pay full 12% service charge we were told we were "sh**" tourists that don't understand Italian food. Unbelievable. Don't visit this place!

Nice location, friendly staff but very average food. We both went for the fillet steak in green pepper sauce, one medium, one medium rare. Both turned up well done in a thick gooey sauce and it didn't look like fillet steak, sirloin maybe? I have had much better Italian food in my home town of Oldham, England for half the... More

Ai Greci sports two well-priced set menus. There consist of three courses (dessert is pannacotta), and they are very good value for Venice. Try the fried seafood. The service was excellent, and this plus the canal-side location makes this a hit on the eastern side of San Marco.

Had our final meal of a two-week Italy trip here at an outdoor table along the canal. The atmosphere is superb and the food was delicious. Our waiter, who appeared to be a manager or owner, told us about their special for two consisting of pasta and a fresh sea bass cleaned and fileted tableside. Both were great. Food and... More

We saw this place in passing and thought we'd give it a shot. After all there was fresh fish outside. The server was very nice, and actually we had him pick our meal for us. A very good pasta, and a flounder to share. They de-boned it for us at the table side. It was soooooo good. Best yet, we... More
