A very nice place to enjoy an outdoor dinning experience. Seated on the waterway we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset and wonderful meal at the same time. Our waiter happily spoke perfect english and was glad to make menu suggestions. The tuna tartar was the best ever along with the fresh grilled and fried seafood. Algiubagio also offers... More

This restaurant is nicely situated once you get there. There is an absolutely beautiful view of the lagoon. I stopped by there in between lunch and dinner. But there was a good menu to just have a bite. The staff was lovely. Paolo was friendly and graciously to my beginner Italian. The atmosphere is elegant for an evening meal but... More

This isn’t in the nicest part of the city but looks out across the water to the cemetery, Murano and the mountains. Book early to get a table on the water’s edge. All the food was delicious, especially the fish. Do try the Risotto “Ga”, a lagoon speciality.

Reacting graciously to my pigeon Italian, this restaurant was actually staffed by the best English speakers on our stay! Staff were friendly, and efficient. Food was great, the highlight being a Tuna Tartare with Swordfish Carpaccio. The view to Murano is great, and the impression I got was that the restaurant was less frequented by tourists than some of the... More

We went for lunch, we felt a little under dressed in shorts and trainers, most people seemed very smart. Nevertheless we sat outside with views to the sea. We were going to Murano so just wanted a light lunch, they don't appear to have a lunch menu so we chose a spaghetti to share and 2 side-salads. It was very... More

We went for my husband's 40th birthday and although the table had the best view, it was situated between 2 water bus stops which spoilt the ambience. The food was at best poor but the service good and the waiters had remembered it was my husband's birthday so the tiramisu had a candle and happy birthday on it. Not a... More

The dinner we enjoyed here was very good. We tried menues 1 and 2 along with a bottle of the house wine (red). Everything was very tasty and nicely presented. The pauses between courses were not too short, so one did not have the feeling of being rushed. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Altogether an enjoyable evening, though it... More

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere and very convenient location for us to get back on the water taxi. The waiters spoke very good english and had a good sense of humour which added to the experience, the food was brilliantly presented and tasted delicious, the best food we had in Venice. Cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant. AND... More

If you want a quiet restaurant to sit, enjoy some great prosecco, and look over the lagoon, this is it! Beautiful outside sitting area that still manages to be peaceful. (many outdoor restaurants in Venice are crowded and noisy.) It has a spectacular view of the lagoon and the islands. Highly recommend this as a place to stop and take... More

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Venice, and looking back on it as someone that loves to save the best for last, I wish we had been there on our last night. The staff were friendly and accommodating - we started our meal outside on a table on a little landing on the waterfront with a view... More
