Lovely restaurant with really nice food and excellent service. We had our best meal in Venice in this restaurant. Ideal for a special occasion. We had a lovely table outside overhanging the lagoon. Grazie for a lovely lunch!

We had dinner here as a family group on holiday after reading lots of reviews and deciding this place sounded worth a go. The building was really trendy and interesting. Cosy atmosphere and great wine. Food mixed - I had a vegetarian main of wholewheat liquorice tagliatelle with pumpkin and pomegranate which was really beautiful. But my veggie starter (there... We had very nice lunch here before heading over to Murano. They have a nice outdoor seating area where you can watch the water taxi action! We had a fantastic caprese appetizer and very tasty pasta courses which left us satisfied and happy. Service was friendly and they did not at all seem to be treating us as tourists. The... More

This a different part of Venice and all the better for it.The building is lovingly refurbished and lots of decorative ambience. We visited on a cold Friday night and ate indoors , would like to have a lunch or dinner outside with the spectacular view. Food is minimalist , very pretty and good choice , wine list is extensive and... More

We had dinner yesterday night at Algiubagio and we arrived with high expectations, being all spoiled with regular top cuisine dinners. After a refreshing and rather short walk we were welcomed in with Italian hospitality. We ordered a chef's dinner, 4 courses without desert. The food was excellent, the winecard outstanding (and affordable) and the athmosphere relaxed but correct. In... More

A restaurant that wasn't necessarily on our list upon arrival, however after talking to our hosts, a reservation was made for dinner service. At first I thought we didn't need the reservation, but that quickly changed as it seemed to seriously pick up within 10 minutes of our arrival, so book ahead. Seemed to be a crowd of locals or... Food: looked brilliant Drinks: cocktails strong Decor: Stylish Service: Attentive Price: high to Very High We peeked in at dinner, but went to a cheaper place down the block. We should have tried this place for dinner, it looks wonderful. We came back for a nightcap. The bar is very reasonable, a stiff pour for a good price. Next trip...

I took my wife here for her birthday dinner. We sat on the deck looking out across the lagoon towards Murano and it was a balmy evening. Very nice. The menu had a number of different dishes to those we had seen elsewhere. The meals we chose were pleasant but I was expecting something better for the price we paid... More

As a part-time resident in Venice, I have been to a great number of restaurants. This has just become my favourite. Set in a quieter area of town, away from the frenetic pace of San Marco, with glorious views across to Cimitero San Michele. The service is excellent and the food is authentic, interesting and completely delicious. To top it... More

We just happened to be in Venice when some friends were and she picked this restaurant based on location and rave reviews about the food. We got really good seats overlooking the water. The pasta was amazing! After having handmade pastas I always say I would never go back to machine made ones. The texture was perfect! All of their... More
