The menu showed some novel combinations of ingredients, which peaked our interest. TA agreed it was the right sort of place. We got a lovely water-side table. And the food and wine were superb! Recommended.

There are any number of excellent restaurant choices when in Venice, especially in the Cannaregio, but few can complete with this one. We arrived in Venice on a spectacularly sunny day, and headed to the Fondamente Nova. Algiubagio (named after the four siblings in this family) is ideally situated with a lovely outdoor dinner area right on the water, directly... More

Such a stunning view of the Venice Lagoon that it didn't really matter how the meal tasted! Fortunately the food, drink and service were all excellent as well. Starters and main courses were great but the Amaretto ice cream for dessert was the icing on the cake. If you are visiting Venice and want to go to out for a... More

I can not say to much about this place for lunch or for dinner, but for breakfast is excellent ..! Three days straight we went to this place for breakfast because we found it very good in terms of quality and price. The place is very cute and very nice in the morning, the terrace is amazing..! Fantastic restaurant. Even though we were there on a Tuesday (=very quiet evening), we got all the attention we wanted. Prices are not cheap, but the quality of the food and the especially the service make it up. Not a good place for Americans with a wish for large portions (see reviews...;-), but people with good taste can have a... More

Not the usual Venice rip off. Great location, really good food, great vines for a fair price. Excellent service.

Although the setting and food at this restaurant were good the service was slow and the cost included even more extras than usual for Venice. Worth a visit if you have time and money to spare.

This restaurant stays over the Venice sea and in a very calm area - very very romantic!!! The food is good but it is served in very small portions ("la nouvelle cousine française"...). Besides, it's a little expensive. Really recommend it for a romantic dinner, but bear in mind that you shouldn't go there if you are really hungry...

The restaurant has a fantastic terrace on the lagoon, with view on the cemetery island of San Michele and the island of Murano. The service is polite and efficient. The food is just ok, the portions are very small and with not much taste. The best dish was the ravioli with goose and black truffle. The worse the dessert soft... More

Food was good but not amazing. They use quality ingredients but no overwhelming flavors here. The wine list is extensive and our Chianti and Cabernet were good and reasonably priced. The setting is very nice and the service was good. If you are looking for a nice clean meal overlooking the water eat here. If you are looking for the... More
