First the waiter lied about our dinner, but that was not the worst part. The waiter made racist and anti-semantic remarks as we paid the bill. He insulted Americans and then called me a Jew when I refused to give him a large tip after his horrendous service. He added the bill incorrectly and overcharged us, then he tried to... More

Tried this place as it looked quite cheap for venice. Pasta dishes around 14 euro each. We were pleased with it at the time but later meals for similar price knocked it down our ratings. Food is good but not great.

Sweet seafood as a starter! Great location, nice service, wonderful music and delicious food. Our best Venice meal! Try this off the beaten path restaurant.

The owner comes and sings Italian songs while you are eating. It was a nice experience that I would recommend.

A visit to the Ristorante Giorgione in Via Garibaldi in Castello, Venice is more than just a meal - it is an evening's entertainment. My wife and I ate here twice during out recent stay in the city and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, the menu was varied, the food was well cooked... Ate dinner here three nights. A good menu with a choice of dishes particularly pasta and fresh fish. Food was very good quality with generous portions. Waiter, waitress and owner courteous, professional and friendly. Surprised to read an earlier review advising not to go here if you are on your own. I was dining alone and was made to feel... More

We ate here on the recommendation of a local and enjoyed it so much we came back a second time. A majority of restaurants in Venice are solely geared to tourists, this restaurant is a little different. Although there were tourists in the restaurant there was also a healthy number of locals. The food was from the Venetian and everything... More

There might be confusion as the sign on the restaurant calls this Trattoria Giorgione but the menu reads Ristorante Giorgione. Either way we enjoyed our dinner. We started with gnocchi and followed with sea bass / sea bream. They were very obliging in taking the fish off the bone for me, though they didn’t remove all of them. Despite being... More

We found the restaurant by accident but are very glad we did - delicious first course (spaghetti with clams), house wine is ok, nothing special, but mixed fried fish main course was really nice. This was the 'tourist menu' at €15.50 - would recommend this place if you're in the area

We were staying at the hotel Bucintoro around the corner and they recommended this place to us one night as it was unfortunately raining and we didn't want to walk far to eat. We had a nice night here, the atmosphere was friendly and laid back and the food was decent for the relatively cheap prices. We had basic Italian... More
