This place isn't the worst. The worst is a dive called Sala by the Arsenale vaperetto stop. Don't GO in! However, Remegio is WAY overpriced. The food is decent, but the service is truly terrible. Old men puttering about in ancient, white jackets hitting on twenty-something women who just want their food. The cover charge is outrageous for a few... More

We search a restaurant and we have followed Jean Luc Petitrenaud's book. We don't want stay during two hours, service has been very nice, not slowly and not very quickly. We have taste their spritz, spaghettis canoce and tiramisu, panacotta red fruits. Simple and effective

Having a good meal is for everybody of us a great challenge during our visit in Venice and the call for a fast nice piece of Pizza near the Rialto Bridge can embrace us easily and is powerful. I think that this depends on what you are looking for. For example, for a one day tourist it is necessary to... More

We had two meals at Da Remigio during our recent stay in Venice. The restaurant is unpretentious but agreeable and seems to be popular with locals as well as tourists. The fish and pasta are of high quality, and are simply and expertly prepared. We particularly enjoyed the razor clams, the turbot and the spaghetti alle vongole. Since we are... More

This a typical trattoria, small and minimal decor, right at the heart of the San Marco district. The food is excellent and the grilled fish is probably the freshest you'll find in Venice, definitely not farmed. Service is good. We had lunch, taking a long break in sightseeing, and could not have been happier.

The salad was good. Some of the bread was not as good as the focaccia. After getting some olive oil it was better. We got the fish special for two for 50 €. It was well grilled fish but not too much to eat. The fish was the total meal other than bread. It was expensive but nothing in Venice... More

This place receives mixed reviews and I would have to concur. We dined here at the suggestion of our hotel concierge when we told her we wanted a seafood restaurant that was authentic, not a tourist trap, and within walking distance of our hotel. When we arrived the place was jammed and we were glad that our hotel had made... More

We went to this restaurant twice during our stay. The first time the food was good at a reasonable price. When we returned the second time we had the fish plater at 50 euros for two what a rip off,not worth it at all,Small pieces of fish and a scampi that was only shell. If you go here stick to the... This Trattoria was recommended by our hotel. You will need a reservation to dine in the evening as it's busy. We shared the grilled fish for two at 55€. Very over priced for quality of what we received. Waiter showed us the fresh catch for a brief second then walked away to fillet it for us. Service is all business,... More

We just had lunch here and honestly the service was superb. The gentleman waiting on us spoke English, Spanish, and of course Italian. Granted it wasn't the busiest of their hours but we received exceptional service. The spaghetti and macaroni we had were the best dishes we have had so far on our trip.
