We tried first for Taverna San Trovaso about 7:30, but were turned away since since we had no reservations. We then walked a little bit to the Accademia Bridge and saw the Pizzeria Accademia. We were starved and immediately violated our Venice rule #1......not to eat on the Grand Canal. . The location is good for al fresco dining, but... more
