The warm welcome and personal attention upon arrival by the owner and his team is exceptional. This isn't just good food, this is a dining experience!

Lovely canalside location, reasonable sashimi starter, but basically very overpriced food that does not hit the mark. Stale bread was shocking, both focaccia and brioche. The bream, seasbass presented on salver as specials looked very very dead, and did not inspire us to order them. My pasta was billed as aubergine puree with shrimps. Perfectly edible but slimy texture and... More

My wife and three kids had a wonderful evening sitting right on the canal, The owner made sure we were well taken care of. Nice cocktails to start with unique wine list. The eight fish special carpaccio was awesome. The potato puree with scallops, the fish soup pastry, the suckling pig, the beef cubes were done perfectly. The most impressive... More

This restaurant is definitly not a cheap one but the quality of the food, the service and the surrounding makes the deal worth to go there. The location is great - if you seat outside your table is just next to the canal which gives a stunning experience in the evening when you can stare at the water, boats and... More

This is a little off the beaten path, but it is convenient to the water bus. Great meal. The staff was very helpful with wine selections. Very intimate and romantic setting. The owner was there making sure everything was just right. It was nice to talk to him for a while. Good view of the water. Highly recommended.

from stunning view to great food, staff and service .it was such a delight to spend a romantic dinner at Riviera restorante. We didn't book a table but we were warmly welcomed by the staff and owner himself. Got a table without a fuss. what makes this place unique is not only the food and the scenery but most of... More

I would say that this is probably the best meal we had in Venice. Setting is beautiful. Peaceful surroundings (despite this being August). The owner and all the staff were brilliant - attentive but not pushy. The food (both the ingredients and cooking) was just right. Yes, it is expensive (though I paid more for much less in Venice). In... More

Feel bad giving this place 4/5, but it just wasn't quite a 5. The staff/service were excellent, I was v aware my girlfriend and I were not the most profitable of guests, we didn't drink anything that night, also we were sparrows and shared 3 dishes and dessert. But they didn't make us feel bad about it at all, and... More

Dear Sir Maybe it was not cheap but apparently, with a 3 dishes and dessert dinner that you shared in two with your friend (usually it's the number of courses for one Guest), you had both a nutritional satisfaction, and this satisfaction for two... you payed like one... I agree with you that the “black pasta cappellacci with scallops, thyme... More

My husband & I visited this restaurant on Friday 8th August whilst on honeymoon. We had high expectations after reading the amazing reviews on trip advisor and I must say we were not disappointed. The setting is absolutely beautiful and is in the quieter part of Venice so you can enjoy a meal without the hustle and bustle. After being... More
