Fresh and traditional menu with amazing personal service from the owner. Great daily specials and customized dishes to our liking. Really enjoyed this Venetian hospitality. Kids loved home made pasta and freshly baked bread.

We two adults and two children had one of the best meals ever at Al Paradiso. The owner couldn't do enough for us and was more than happy to have the chef make anything the kids wanted. Service was very good and the meals BRILLIANT! When back in Venice we will be making a point of going back to this... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by the concierge of the Hotel Monaco, promising excellent food. It is situated down a dark alleyway, no view whatever. On arrival with several tables to choose from, there were two small ones either side of the entrance (suitable for two people) and asked could I have the one on the left. Shouted at... More

Went to dinner here for our anniversary, per recommendation from the concierge at the Westin hotel. We really enjoyed the food and the staff was very friendly. Atmosphere is peaceful and romantic. I highly recommend this restaurant to couples who are visiting Venice.

You probably read the other reviews already, off the beaten track, felt like we were in a different Venice, no crowds. We were here 6 years ago, liked it so much we ate there twice (doing that again this trip). If you read any of my other reviews we like to go to a restaurant when it just opens for... More

We went here last night on the strength of TA reports and were not disappointed. In fact, I had the best fegato Veneziana ever...it was truly sensational. In fact, the whole meal was wonderful and the two of us had different courses with which we were completely satisfied. The chef is first class and the staff ( all ladies) are... More

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Al Paradiso with family and friends recently in Venice. Our friends live it Italy and recommended the restaurant and we were not disappointed in the food. It was a hot day and we expected to have seating inside, but the small inside seating was fully booked / reserved for another party so we sat... More

We had walked by this restaurant a few times as it was near our hotel. The menu looked good and it was late, even by Italian standards for dinner with a lot of restaurants closed so we took a chance. And were rewarded with a very good meal. This restaurant is near the Rialto Bridge and the Mercato but not... More

I had starred this place on Google Maps after reading good reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed...after hustling for 10 minutes just to get across the Rialto bridge we were in need of sit down and relax. Al Paradiso is located in a relatively quiet back street with a gorgeous courtyard facing the street surrounded by beautiful... More

I went to Al Paradiso (July 2014) one evening with my girlfriend after recommendations from our hotel concierge that the restaurant was fantastic with excellent seafood. We double checked tripadvisor reviews and saw excellent reviews, so had high hopes for the restaurant. Unfortunately, our overall experience was a disappointment - the restaurant charges high prices but gives the cheapest seafood... More
