Husband and I had lunch here a few days ago. Food was ok/good, prices kind of high for lunch, and service was just alright. Would we return here? Most likely not! I agree with the reviews below, only certain type of customers get all the attention. You might feel neglected here.

Had dinner here this evening and it was great! We had a wonderful bottle of wine and the food was awesome. To start we had the prawns wrapped in bacon and then I had the pasta scampi and my husband had the pesto pasta with king prawns. It has been the best pasta we have had in Venice. The service... More

Stopped by on Sunday after church at St. Marks. Caprese salad was excellent. Pasta carbonara and pasta bolognese was fantastic. Dessert was chocolate soufflé was wonderful as was grandmothers cake. Don't pass this one up. Turn Left at the bottom of the Rialto bridge, turn right at paradiso, red awning on the left.

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Our girls had spaghetti bolognese which was delicious. My husband ordered the pasta a la puttanesca and I was not sure what to order and was contemplating the riso with vegetables, but the kind gentleman who took our order said he could make whatever I wanted and suggested vegetables with... Very much enjoyed our meal here. It was first night of the soft shelled crab season so they were an obvious choice, served with soft polenta. Tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and thyme was a real hit, as was parpadelle with scampi. Wine recommendations by the glass were spot on. Service was good. All in all a very nice evening.

We had high expectations following so many excellent reviews but we were left very disappointed as we headed off into the rain following our meal. To be fair the food was nice and certainly my fiancé's choices were very good but the service went down hill as soon as a party turned up who seemed to be known by the... More

Was recommended to eat here by hotel concierge... I would not return. The food was good but only average, especially considering the very high price. Service was only adequate -- it was as if they did not want us to eat at their restaurant. It was a cold and rainy day outside so maybe they preferred to be at home?... More

Not sure about previous 5 star reviews, might be a different chef? We had the Salmon (honey/balsamic) and the scallop gnocchi here last night. They were ok-no wow factor, certainly not the best, but fresh and well cooked. Service was friendly, cosy simple interior. We felt it was over-rated and over-priced, but not any better than other places in Venice.... More

Even though during dinner my wife received a call on her cell phone with news that the ceiling of our main floor family room had partially collapsed given a cracked radiator in our bedroom above, I still found this restaurant to be our best meal in Venice. I thought the risotto with champagne and grapefruit (and a scampi on top)... More

My husband and I traveled to Venice with our family for winter break. We had a date night at Al Paradiso and our food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and so was the service. The manager checked on us and was super friendly. Great night.
