Food was tasty and well-prepared. It's on a side street near Ponte Rialto and we sat outside which was nice. Just, nothing stood out except the cookies presented at the end.

Located off the canal on a quiet street and supposedly where the locals go fir really good food it did look far better than all the tacky tourist traps along the canals so we gave it a try. Wish we hadn't. The maitre d' pushed some specials but never said what they cost and when we asked they were far... More

We stumbled across this little restaurant and decided to eat here as we saw a lot of people eating there. It is in a quiet lane away from the bustle of tourist which was nice. We had the special of the day - octopus salad which was delicious. The mains arrived very quickly after our entre and we had to... More

I read good reviews before going, and then on the day I read a review on trip advisor that the owner was very rude to a female traveller who was dining alone. We had already made a reservation, so did not wish to cancel. The food was fine, though not amazing and a little overpriced, but the vibe was depressing... More

Al Paradiso is a little off the beaten track which adds to its charm. We had a very good meal our last night in Venice. We struck up a conversation with people at another table, and were allowed to enjoy a leisurely meal without rushing. The food was excellent and the service superb.

i have to admit that the branzino was good, the way it was presented was very poor (although we asked for vegetables aside it came all on one plate). the appetizer and even more so the dessert was in terms of quality below every poor expectation you may have. their only interest is to ripp you off. never again.

Fresh and traditional menu with amazing personal service from the owner. Great daily specials and customized dishes to our liking. Really enjoyed this Venetian hospitality. Kids loved home made pasta and freshly baked bread.

We two adults and two children had one of the best meals ever at Al Paradiso. The owner couldn't do enough for us and was more than happy to have the chef make anything the kids wanted. Service was very good and the meals BRILLIANT! When back in Venice we will be making a point of going back to this... More
