I had starred this place on Google Maps after reading good reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed...after hustling for 10 minutes just to get across the Rialto bridge we were in need of sit down and relax. Al Paradiso is located in a relatively quiet back street with a gorgeous courtyard facing the street surrounded by beautiful... More

I went to Al Paradiso (July 2014) one evening with my girlfriend after recommendations from our hotel concierge that the restaurant was fantastic with excellent seafood. We double checked tripadvisor reviews and saw excellent reviews, so had high hopes for the restaurant. Unfortunately, our overall experience was a disappointment - the restaurant charges high prices but gives the cheapest seafood... More

My mother and father said that they loved Al Paradiso when they visited Venice 8 years ago so he wanted to take my husband and I there to see if it was still a great spot. Since we are creatures of habit, when we find a restaurant we like, we tend to make it a part of our daily routine.... More

I went to Al Paradiso for a nicer dinner while in Venice. I could tell it was a good choice from the time I got there. They were busy and I hadn't made a reservation, but they were able and willing to give me a table really quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommendations. I tried a small... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this small trattoria not far from the Rialto Bridge and a ten minute walk from San Marco. The owner greeted us, helped us to our outdoor table in the small Calle and explained the specialities. We shared all courses and a bottle of wine including zucchini flowers, lightly fried and stuffed with minced vegetables, gnocchi with... More

We celebrated my son's 16th birthday at Al Paradiso. Food is amazing. I had the risotto with shrimp, champagne and grapefruit and it was out of this world. Chocolate souffle is fantastic. Restaurant is off the beaten path which gives you a nice break from the herds of tourists wandering around. Owner is there serving wine and obviously takes great... More

We found this restaurant only by chance as we were walking about. It was a wonderful lunch.I had pasta puttanesca and it was delicious. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the quiet setting. The staff were gracious and the portions were large. I also had a lovely salad and we enjoyed a bottle of wine. I feel the price... More

A lovely restaurant tucked away off the main drag near the Rialto bridge. Lovely sea food available, with the mussels alla tarantina the star of the night. Would definitely recommend making a reservation, and the meal is definitely on the pricey side but is one of the better eateries in town. Service was amazing.

Our concierge recommended Al Paradiso when we said we do like seafood, and non-touristy places. We had to walk through all of San Marco to go to the Rialto, and then its quite easy to find this place. It was a warm June evening so we sat outside on the smallish patio, and could people watch as we dined. We... More

We had dinner here last March with my husband and the place was a tad difficult to find as it was raining. We phoned them up for reservation and said they were fully booked but had a cancellation for two so they accommodated us. We arrived at 8pm and it was only us, two couples and two waiters and a...
