I went to Al Paradiso for a nicer dinner while in Venice. I could tell it was a good choice from the time I got there. They were busy and I hadn't made a reservation, but they were able and willing to give me a table really quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommendations. I tried a small... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this small trattoria not far from the Rialto Bridge and a ten minute walk from San Marco. The owner greeted us, helped us to our outdoor table in the small Calle and explained the specialities. We shared all courses and a bottle of wine including zucchini flowers, lightly fried and stuffed with minced vegetables, gnocchi with... More

We celebrated my son's 16th birthday at Al Paradiso. Food is amazing. I had the risotto with shrimp, champagne and grapefruit and it was out of this world. Chocolate souffle is fantastic. Restaurant is off the beaten path which gives you a nice break from the herds of tourists wandering around. Owner is there serving wine and obviously takes great... More

We found this restaurant only by chance as we were walking about. It was a wonderful lunch.I had pasta puttanesca and it was delicious. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the quiet setting. The staff were gracious and the portions were large. I also had a lovely salad and we enjoyed a bottle of wine. I feel the price... More

A lovely restaurant tucked away off the main drag near the Rialto bridge. Lovely sea food available, with the mussels alla tarantina the star of the night. Would definitely recommend making a reservation, and the meal is definitely on the pricey side but is one of the better eateries in town. Service was amazing.

Our concierge recommended Al Paradiso when we said we do like seafood, and non-touristy places. We had to walk through all of San Marco to go to the Rialto, and then its quite easy to find this place. It was a warm June evening so we sat outside on the smallish patio, and could people watch as we dined. We... More

We had dinner here last March with my husband and the place was a tad difficult to find as it was raining. We phoned them up for reservation and said they were fully booked but had a cancellation for two so they accommodated us. We arrived at 8pm and it was only us, two couples and two waiters and a... We came across this restaurant by chance, in an alley very close to the Rialto bridge. The area is teeming with restaurants and tourists but we were drawn to this because it was set in a quiet alley and the menu had some very interesting regional dishes (octopus with polenta, for example). The restaurant is of a higher standard than... More

We had heard good things about Al Paradise and with a craving for seafood one night in Venice we checked it out. The service was excellent and attentive. The quality of the pasta was first rate, very fresh and cooked to perfection. The shrimp, clams, and lobster that came with our meals all tasted wonderful. My daughter had the seabass... More

We ate lunch here last week, opting for the 3 course menu turistico. Considering how close we were to the Rialto bridge it was very reasonable. The service was very good and we were able to sit in the shade for a while which was good.
