Large restaurant and bar. Went for an early dinner: tender grilled octopus with polenta, plus another dish. Very good wine.

Stunning restaurant, amazing menu presented on an i-pad that changes daily with fabulous dishes. Great wine list too and unusual modern decor for Venice. Lovely staff. Will come back every time we are in Venice.

We chose this restaurant for our last night in Venice after eating in two other more traditional Venetian restaurants. We wanted something a bit smarter and special for the Saturday night and we were not disappointed. I booked over the internet a week before and got the hotel to confirm on the night. We has been running late due to... More

Let's get down to the food, you already know that the restaurant is super modern and their menu is an iPad... I had a green salad (good) and the seafood pasta "carbonara". The pasta was perfectly cooked, nice and al dente, and the sauce was very good too. The prawns however were not fabulous. It was a great dish but... More

High-design, high-tech (ordering with iPad), and inventive -- down to the approach to the food. Everything was gorgeous and delicious. Without breaking the bank. Here's the deconstructed tiramisu.

Best restaurant we ate at in Venice... Hands down! The menu was so enticing we decided to go for a bit of a tasting spree - The original plan was a couple of cocktails, some selections from the cold cuts menu and a small platter of cheeses but then we spotted the Potato mousse with Foie Gras, and a most exquisite... In this trendy restaurant you have to try diffrent kind of tartare (fish, meat, ...) Menu is ready in tablet and you can see pictures of dishes together with the description. Quality is extremely good and price accordingly. List of wines excellent but many very expensive.

We were in Venice for 3 nights and went to this restaurant on our second night. We enjoyed it so much we went back on our third night. It is quite expensive but it's worth it for the delicious food.

We saved this spot for our last evening in Venice. Good choice because it would have been hard to top. Great atmosphere, friendy staff, live piano music and the food...just a dream. Excellent from entree to dessert (try the deconstructed tiramisu), absolutely worth a visit. We will come back!

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
