Bello Gelato

Cracking little place to stop for an ice cream just off St. Mark's Square. Great choice; nice and clean; friendly staff

Gelato is much better than ice cream, and Fantasy did not disappoint. They have a good variety and their cost is not expensive

I would def recommend this gelato place to anyone! While it is a little pricier, one does get a large serving with it! The flavors are great with a large selection and have different flavors then the average gelato place!

2 euros got me one scoop of the dark chocolate Gelato in a cup. Satisfied my dark chocolate craving. This place was less than a block from our B&B and we visited 4 times in 8 days. Tried the Pistachio which was delicious, but went back for the chocolate, ... several times!

This is the second time we visited. After 2 years, the quality is still the same. Chocolate fondant is still a favourite of mine despite my not-so-much love relationship with chocolate. Peanut butter is another highlight. It was usual, it was rich, it was just flavoursome !!

This was fine, just not as amazing as the reviews make out. There are better but there are worse. There was an ok variety of flavours but it was quite sickly.

If you crave for gelato, I think this gelato is ok to have. The flavor such as peanut butter is exotic but not much impressed. Overall is ok. It is average Italian gelato but they put so much gelato on the cone.

Many flavors to pick from and they are all SO GOOD! You will most likely have a line, wait and be patient, it's worth it.

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
