Stumbled over this because of the tables in the courtyard. Apart from 2€ cover charge each the beer and food were OK. Waiter was most grumpy we met in Italy but was efficient enough. Didn't see the Flying Dutchman though!

After trying to find a good restaurant in Venice we stumbled upon this "gem". When we sat down the waiter was fairly rude and after we placed our orders for food we did not see him until he brought the check. The meal itself was not very good at all. I had the gnocchi (which had 20 pieces of gnocchi... More

We went here for dinner; we enjoyed it - the food, service and atmosphere were all good but we were looking for a locals place of the tourist routes. Would recommend it if you are comfortable with what I described.

Went here for lunch twice. My wife has penne arrabiata everywhere that we travel, and rated this as being the second best she has had.... All of the pasta dishes seemed good, don't think I would have the pizza. The chips were nice, all of the food arrived hot, with good service. I see this as a place for lunch,... More

Not just the worst meal I've ever had in Italy but up there as possibly the worst meal I've had ever. My girlfriend and I had the 'lasagne' but I wouldn't dare class this as lasagne. I've had Asda, Sainsbury and Tesco value lasagne and all were delicious when compared with this monstrosity. The closest thing I can compare it... More

We went there only for drinks, just to make up our mind and choose a restaurant for the evening. We only had one glass of wine each (Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Franc) for which we were charged 10 euros! Any other place would have charged 4 to 5 euros for this. We left the place in absolute astonishment at the... More

Stumbled across this little place. The staff were friendly enough at the time. I was subject to a nasty bout of vomiting around four hours after I'd had the seafood spaghetti. I'd urge you not to eat here. Such a shame.

We probably should have realized when, on Christmas Day, the only open restaurant that was not full or nearly full was... This one. It is really cute, well decorated, located on a square.. Our second indication should have been that, despite a general lack of business, this restaurant was out of 60% of its draft beers. Okay... Third sign could... More

Food was poor (Pizza like cardboard). The most expensive we've used in Venice. The service was poor. TV playing loudly behind the bar with the bartender watching out of sight. Clearly disinterested.

We walked about the streets of Venice for an hour trying to find a nice restaurant, but every place was full. Finally we stumbled upon this little place, which looked nice enough, and although it was almost completely empty, we sat down. Sheepishly, we ordered the Pasta Carbonera, a Pizza with several toppings and two glasses of red wine. What... More
