Stopped off here on our way back to the apartment, there was an offer on at the time with most drinks for 1 euro! Great value for the centre of Venice!!

There are many good restaurants in Venice. This one is a really bad choice. Please read the rating of the other guests before eating here!!!

We found this restaurant by accident and got chatting to the owner.. on one of our afternoon walks.. we even managed to find our way back! Great value and great food. We had the tourist menu at 11 Euros a couple of beer and 1lt of house wine and some water. We both had spaghetti to start with and then... More

I didn't try a full meal, my mother and I had a break from a day's walking in Venice. She had the vegetable soup and I had the pasta e fagioli. Both were absolutely delicious and we both agreed that they were some of the best soups we've ever had. So, for the soup, TOP MARKS. I'd go back for... More

Visited today as it looked nice from outside. Menu of day looked ok at 15 euro. We both chose lasagne starter but it was stone cold in middle and when we pointed it out the man took it away an brought it back microwaved with no apology. I ordered for main course escalope in white wine and cream sauce with... More

A word to the wise after the event: if a menu reads like an encyclopedia with hundreds of dishes on display, its going to be bad. But with a hungry child, who wanted just a simple pasta dish, there was little choice but to take the plunge. To be fair, the pasta was good, but if you cant get that... More

First if all,I'd like to point out that in general Venice is a magic city but not really for the food...It's very difficult to find places where to eat well at a reasonable prices, the restaurants take too much advantage of being in a very touristic place. But as a couple if Italians from Liguria (so we're quite strict on the quality... We were very disapponted about the seafood quality in general but when i had "frittura mista alla veneziana" i noticed that wasn't fresh at all with a bad taste of mold ("muffa" in italian) . I can recognize a good quality seafood , i'm from Genova in Italy. After the meal i was a bit sick and fortunately i left... More

We had eaten several times at Osteria Al Ponte, La Patatina, which serves excellent food and has a great ambience. This was just OK. But La Patatina is quite close and much better.

A very simple reaturant with a good menu and many typical venetian dishes located in a small street half way from Accademia to train station. The food quality is good and the service very good.
