We chose to sit down and have a meal. I have fritto di mare and husband had pasta with shrimp (scampi). he hated it. I was ok with my plate but would not run back to have this again. the ciccietti at bar looked more interesting so if anyone wants to try this restaurant I would start with that because... More

This is a very popular restaurant so please do book to secure a table. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the staff looked at us in a very pleasant but there is no room at the inn kind of way until we confirmed our reservation. Our table was the only one available in the restaurant and it remained very... More

If you find yourself in this part of Venice, this is a must!! Small menu, but everything sounds amazing. My friend and I came here and loved our meals. I got the bucatini pasta with bacon, onions and tomatoes and she the spaghetti alla busara. We were both thrilled with the meal and agreed it was the best we had... More

We ended up getting pretty hungry while walking around a touristy area of Venice and so decided we'd just grab a bite in an unplanned, quick and cheap place. This restaurant was off the main street in a little alley on a corner and the food was excellent. The service was even better, the place is family owned and our... More

We booked a table here based on reviews, very disappointed in food and service. We waited at open door for someone to acknowledge us..it seemed like a game to the wait staff. The meatballs were recommended, would not order them again. We had a pasta dish that was equally forgettable, as i can't remember what it was. It was expensive... More

Getting in-the-know of what denizens of Venice know is a plus. They are fiercely loyal to their local bacaro (wine bar), where small plates can be a nibble before a meal or dinner itself. This joint does two kinds of meatballs, both of them delicious and equally well prepared squid with potatoes and a whole grilled seppie. We were advised to... More

I had a delicious vongole spaghetti here, Ive had a fair share of vongole pasta before and this was a really good one. Though portion was small, I couldve easily had another one (I know I couldve had a secondi..). Cant vouch for anything else, but its a very inexpensive and nice place for a meal.

Nothing complicated, small but excellent menu where every dish is done well! A must try as also recommended by Timeout. Went back for a 2nd time, no frills or fanciful presentation, simply good food!

This is really a hidden gem, the cichetti were really interesting and atmosphere was really buzzing with both locals and tourists alike. Def grab a couple ombres and munch away by the bar standing around and taking in the local bar culture. Was a bit tough to get service, as they were VERY busy, but once the waiter got to... More

This small restaurant is found in an Alley in the sestiere Cannaregio not far from Canal Grande and the Rialto bridge. We had two different pasta dishes and both were just outstanding in taste. The service was very good as well!
