Rick Steve's recommended this restaurant, and we agree. My wife ordered lasagna and I tasted it; it was the best lasagna I've ever tasted. I can't even remember what I ordered.

Recommended by our B&B, we arrived early in the evening for a light meal prior to attending a concert. We enjoyed a lovely selection of tasty little bites with a glass of prosecco sitting in the square outside at a very reasonable price. Clearly a very popular place and we can see why. Recommended.

Fantastic experience in the centre of Venice, small, tiny place, great antipasti. We asked to get a variety of local antipasti and got big plates with lots of great local seafood antipasti. Our two families got an authentic, great experience with great food, highly recommended!

We found this place on the tourist map our hotel gave us & it was listed as a tapas bar, we decided to try it for lunch. It was packed with people when we got there but there was one table free, we got told you could only have tapas at the bar but could order off the menu if... More

Osteria Al Portego was recommended to us by our front desk clerk as one of his go to places. We went to eat earlier than the "Italian" dinner hour, and lucked out getting a table. Be prepared though, as there was only two of us sitting at a four top table and we had another couple sat with us. The... More

We stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere to have lunch. It looked quaint and it was filled with locals. We spotted a couple of impressive seafood and pasta plates being delivered so decided to take a table. The service was great and they kindly translated the menu for us. We have been in Venice for three days and... More

My husband and I read a recommendation for this place so came early to get a table. We were seated and orders taken quickly. The wine was great to sip on while we waited for our food. Both entrees we ordered were amazing. The duck ravioli is one of the best things I have ever eaten. The small bites at... More
