Nice restaurant close to the canal in Santa Croce. The food is tasty but a bit old school. We tasted the fegato paté and la burrata - both good starters. For main dish we ordered their famous Zucca flan and rigatoni. In my opinion, the flan was not fantastic. The pasta with melanzane was very tasty but not superb. The... More

Nice quiet location nearby a small canal. Excellent and plenty vegetarian plates. Friendly and quick service. Always fully booked so make your reservation a day upfront.

We dined at La Zucca for lunch and it was excellent. The food was of a very highly quality, and each dish was fresh, delicious, and innovative. The restaurant is located next to a stunning bridge, and we sat outside with an amazing view of the canal.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our B and B. It was a little bit difficult to find, as are most things in Venice, but it was so worth the search! La Zucca was by far our favorite meal in the 2 days we were in Venice. Everything was extremely delicious and the service was wonderful. We had squash... More

A great restaurant but you need to book. Its away from the tourist areas so you need to know your way around. My daughter was living in Venice at the time so knew this was a highly recommended place, we booked in advance glad we did, people had been queuing for an hour or so to get in at 7... More

The food was great, especially the vegetarian dishes like the zucchini lasagna, the vegetable platter. The meat dishes were good, but the vegetarian dishes were exceptional. Dessert was super good, especially the gelato with sesame brittle.

The food is very good, especially the zucca flan, which I suppose is one of their specialties. Prices are reasonable. Service was somewhat disorganized when we were there, looked like they might have been a little short on people that night. Still, they were very kind and even offered to charge less on the wine when I realized they had... More

I read about this place on TA and made a reservation. It was a 30 minute walk from my hotel. I arrived at the time of my reservation but the table wasn't ready and I had to wait another ½ hour to be seated. The staff was nice but busy, and I had a heck of a time translating the... More

Great meal in Venice! It was tucked away in a quiet corner next to a small canal. My wife and I ate here while on our honeymoon. The menu is in Italian but the wait staff was very nice and helpful. It was such a beautiful and peaceful area. This was the best meal we had in Venice and one... More
