Delicious and different restaurant in Venice

Delicious restaurant focusing on vegetarian dishes in Venice, hard to find, but then all the best places are in this city. I recommend the pumpkin lasagne. Definitely book.

We had a great lunch here during our 3 night trip to Venice. We managed to get an outside table and the restaurant is in a lovely little spot next to a really pretty bridge on a quiet canal. Great for a bit of people watching and a really romantic setting. The food was lovely. The menu is in Italian... More

We went on a mini break to Venice this February. We were recommended La Zucca by a colleague at work and we were not disappointed. The menu changes daily and is only printed in Italian. The waitress was so helpful and patient explaining the dishes to us as our Italian is not great! Every dish we ordered was amazing. The... More

The name of the restaurant probably gives it away, but this restaurant knows a thing or two about pumpkins. I had the gratin with pumpkins as a starter and it was absolutely amazing. If had known it was going to be that good I would have cancelled my main and just ordered 2 more servings of it, and I'm being... More

Greeted very politely by the waiter who help[ed us through the menus options based upon our needs. The vegetarian food was delicious, the house red delicious and the whole experience perfect. Be sure to book a couple of days in advance as we did, as many were turned away at the door. If you want a special, romantic, but not... More

While this restaurant is vegetarian friendly, there ARE meat options on the menu. There is no English menu, but the staff is very good about helping you. Our waiter suggested a lovely wine, which we adored. Don't miss the desserts.

I'm very meat orientated in my food choices so this wouldn't have been my usual choice but had some very good write ups in the British media. It's authentic Italian food with an italian only menu (you're in Italy, not a drive through McDonald's in London) some people seem to have moaned about this. The staff were very friendly I... More

This place was recommended by a couple born in Venezia, they go there all the time and this is truly where locals go to eat so you can be sure you will get great culinary. I had to book a table in advance as it is not a large place and it will be hard to get a table. So,... More

We visited Venice for a week to celebrate my partner's birthday. We did some research independently before our trip and both came up with this place. We are both veggie and the reviews suggested it would be great. We booked a table for 9pm and had a drink at the Hilton beforehand. We arrived at 8.45pm and were told we... More

We luckily got a table here after only a 5 minute wait that we shared with another couple. Their food is quite good and the menu is modern. try their appetizer with tofu/guac/toasted pine nuts its real simple and good flavor. Quite pleased with service and food here. make a reservation or arrive early to get table as they get... More
