This place was recommend to us by the place where we stayed. My husband and I started with an entree each. I had dried cod fish puréed with toast and he had the duck breast. They were both delicious. For the main I had spaghetti with a duck ragu. Greg had beef pieces with shaved cheese & roast potato. We... More

This restaurant is located just outside of the center, but it is very good and typical food of the region. The staff is friendly and provides good service.

We visited Santa Maria Maggiore Church in Treviso. My great grandparents were married there in 1870 and my grandfather was baptized there in 1875. Across the square there is the outdoor caffe All'Antico Portico. We had a great pasta lunch there looking at the beautiful church. It was quite special in every way.

After having lived in Treviso for nearly four years, I am ashamed to say this was my first time here. In a small square opposite the church, you won't find the hustle and bustle of the busier streets. Yet it is very convenient. It is an historic building and you can sense the wonderul history and tradition as soon as... More

My 5 friends and I , all very experienced travellers, had the pleasure of Maurizio's company when we stopped for lunch on Saturday. Facing a quiet square with the bells of the church resounding we settled in for a substantial meal which was beautifully cooked and prepared. This was "local food" not the Italian "tourist" food that many expect e.g.... More

Had a first tasty "penne all'arrabbiata" topped with parmesan cheese, a main course "salamelle in umido" which were light and superb. All drawn into a red local wine. Nice people surrounding my lonely presence. Closed up with an expresso next to a grappa shot. Life seems wonderful. Gary Liebermann - Apolides

I had loved the sound of the menu and went there because of the good reviews. The service was excellent, and my husband loved his gnocchi and his steak with a barolo reduction. My choices were not so successful though, especially my main course of calves cheeks with polenta. They were incredibly fatty and chewy, and sadly it was one... More

This restaurant offered good service and good food. We would definitely recommend it. The only thing is, it's not right in the middle of town so away from the hustle and bustle.

We felt very welcome and my salt cod with polenta was absolutely delicious. Lovely grilled vegetables with my beef cheeks. Would highly recommend.
