La Romana gelato parlour was born in the heart of the historic centre of Rimini in 1947, receiving the name of the founder's daughter. A few years later Vito Zucchi, progenitor of the family, took over the enterprise. Thanks to his fervent creativity and the use of a few ingredients then available, he created a wide range of high-quality flavours which are still made in our stores today. For this reason, we offer traditional flavours made exclusively with selected products, following old recipes of the past.

This ice cream place was right in front of my hotel and was way too tempting....I tried one of the ice-cream dessert which was wonderful. My friend also really enjoyed the ice-cream she tried. The only down side (other than the calories...) was that there are no signs in English with the different flavors and the waitress did not speak... More

They have the best creamy icecream in Padua, their varieties are all inviting and even the side desserts they have are displayed neatly to lure you out of your diet, these are happy calories that I was glad to take. recommending this place after a great dinner

Very delicious gelato and reasonably priced. It could get crowded after dinner, but it's all worth the wait. No hype, just plain good gelato place

I've been in Italy for 3 months now, travelled lol around the north east and I can easily say that this is the best gelato I've had so far. The shop is beautiful in monochrome and has more than just gelato on offer. I had two scoops of Chocolate Fondant. I would highly recommend this gelateria.

Open late and always seems to be busy - no wonder, because the fine array of sweet treats are delicious. Very classy decor, too.

REAL Gelato! Variety of flavours (the pistacchio is a must) that tastes like heaven. The seller was really nice and gave me a bit of few flavours so i can decide which one to choose. The price is also very moderate.

Whilst we have not visited the shop personally, a local friend served us several varieties of gelato at a dinner party , knowing that we loved it. What a treat! We will never be the same again! Travelling Italy, the plan was to sample different gelato everywhere we went, and we did. But now nothing can compare to it, we... More

Best icecream without any shadow of a doubt in Padova! At least the best I've ever had. Smooth, creamy, good portions, and at a price that is no higher than most other gelaterias. All the flavors are in Italian, so I don't know everything they have! I loved the design of the place as well as the ice cream. It... More
