Excellent Fishrestaurant

On a business trip to Milano and Padua I was invited to dine at the Zafferano, and my host was already praising the food and wine on the ride from Milan. So when we finally got there I was not only hungry, but also excited! For the main course we went with one of the Specials of the Day, which... read more

I go to italy twice a year to this town for work and stay at the hotel across the street. I went the first time because it was the closest place to eat. now there are some trips where i wont eat anywhere else the whole trip because the fish is very good. expect to pay about 100 euros or... More

A wide choice of fish, good service. May be a little bit expensive, but was fine. Located near the NH hotel, and not far from Best Western Galileo, I guess it "steals" the hotel guests from a dinner in the hotel restaurant.

The only English speaking was a young waitress. Everyone working at the restaurant seemed to be friendly to the Italians. The fish they recommended was good and fresh. Price was a bit high but I think it was worth tasting. I had an awkward look when I asked to take a way the wine I didn't finish. The service was... More

The restuarant is well known for their seafood specialities. We enjoyed the selection of raw and hot apetizers, especially the French oysters. The main course is mainly based on grilled fish dishes. Unfortunatly the fish and seafood availability is too limited and often one or two dishes are sold out ! The wine list is good, showing different French champagne,... More

Ist pretty ok and the cooker is a fantastic character, coming from the kitchen to chat with you. The problem is, that at the end, the prices doesn't justify the food. So, if you don't care to expend much money for regular food, you will enjoy! The lady hosting at the entrance is real glam, such a nice woman.

After spending all day in Venice we ended the day dining in this great Padova restaurant and we are glad we did. The fish was really special and fresh and we had a wonderful evening. Prices were a little bit expensive, specially if you consider that you are kind of out of the tourist area, but the place seemed very... More
