Nice dinner

Me and my boyfriend love indian food, so have decided to try one while staying in Italy. Samosas were home made ( 2 big ones for 4EUR). I had chicken tikka masala (8 EUR) and my boyfriend lamb Rogan Josh (9 EUR), selection of naan - plain, cheese, coriander (6.50EUR) The food wasn't as spicy as... read more

I have been to many Indian restaurants in UK, in NY, LA and in Israel. most of them were good but some are excellent, this one, that I found in Padova, is not excellent but very good. The food was fresh and tasty, the atmosphere was nice, indian cook and reasonable price. We have been twice already. Because I live... More

This is a small restaurant in a great location. The food here was amazing. I am used to having Indian food all over the world, and this was one of the best I have ever tasted outside India. We tried the vegetarian food and it was non spicy, non oily and cooked just right (not over cooked). The service was... More

Quote a lot on the menu, at decent prices, but I found the portions rather small, even if they did look and taste good. A popular place, anyway, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Wherever we are we are always looking for Indian, Thai or Chinese restaurants because we really appreciate this type of cooking. And the Buddha restaurant without any doubt was a very positive experience. Friendly staff and delicious food; moreover the pricing level is more than acceptable. Thus the restaurant is vg recommondation for everybody staying at Padua.

I had always been apprehensive - don't know why. Maybe the lack of beef? But no worries! The curries were fantastic, the Tandorri Mix plate was to die for and the mango drink - creamy, rich, delicious and served in a cup I wanted to stick in my purse and take home. The staff was attentive, friendly, courteous, organized! Will... More

I’m always looking for non Italian restaurants because they are so hard to find in Genova (where I currently live) that I crave ethnic cuisine. I was delighted to find the Buddha Restaurant because I love Indian food and the interior looked so inviting and especially comfortable for a women dinning alone. The service was professional and friendly. The menu... More

You won't pass this restaurant as it is off the main street, you need to go looking for it, but it is only a few metres away. Good menu and selection of standard Indian restaurant fare. Worth a visit if you fancy a change from Italian cuisine.
