Definitely worth a try! (Even for vegetarians!)

...even if you are not in the mood for the traditional "bollito" (mixed boiled meat), or you are too squeamish to approach the pig "testina" (this is my case!) well: this is a place to go. Strange location in an area with a lot of immigrants. We did not have high expectations but were pleasantly surprised. A large well decorated establishment retaining a homely ambiance. Excellent service from stepping through the door until stepping out. I had Gnocchi starter which on their own were average for Italy but the ragu sauce made it extra special. Unusually... More

Came here for a late dinner during a business trip. I was undecided about two types of fresh pasta to order and the server more than glady offered to make a plate combining both. Also had prosciutto and cheese as an appetizer. Very good cabernet house wine for just €2. Overall a very good and surprising experience. Will definitely come... More

I've been dreaming of the lemon cake ever since I left Padua. My husband and I tried the restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel. We both got the pasta and dessert, skipping the main meat course so that we would have room for dessert. I'm so glad the hotel recommended this place, the home-made pasta and desserts were phenomenal.... More

This restaurant offers some of the traditional dishes of the region, both meat and fish, made in a squeaky-clean and open kitchen. I had pasta e fagioli + faraona arrosto + local vegetables + strawberries in red wine. What a meal!

The service is great and the food very very good. I had the "pasta e fagioli" and the "bollito misto", some good wine and an amaro. I could be fine with just the "bollito", but everything looked so feel that I was too curious. I spent 50 euros, just a little bit too much but you have to try it... More

This is a typical old fashioned family -run trattoria, where I use to go not only on business lunches but also with my hubby for a special treat. They have on their menu fresh egg pasta and potato gnocchi with a selection of sauces, but their speciality is the steamed and roasted meat trolley, plenty of meat cuts to choose... More

Truly spectacular Not located in the best part of town, but who cares when food is this good What is clearly a family run outfit, the decor inside is welcoming and staff are just as welcoming and friendly Service was fantastic all night (I wasn't even that bothered that the waiter kept missing me out on the wine top ups)...
