This restaurant offers some of the traditional dishes of the region, both meat and fish, made in a squeaky-clean and open kitchen. I had pasta e fagioli + faraona arrosto + local vegetables + strawberries in red wine. What a meal!

The service is great and the food very very good. I had the "pasta e fagioli" and the "bollito misto", some good wine and an amaro. I could be fine with just the "bollito", but everything looked so feel that I was too curious. I spent 50 euros, just a little bit too much but you have to try it... More

This is a typical old fashioned family -run trattoria, where I use to go not only on business lunches but also with my hubby for a special treat. They have on their menu fresh egg pasta and potato gnocchi with a selection of sauces, but their speciality is the steamed and roasted meat trolley, plenty of meat cuts to choose... More

Truly spectacular Not located in the best part of town, but who cares when food is this good What is clearly a family run outfit, the decor inside is welcoming and staff are just as welcoming and friendly Service was fantastic all night (I wasn't even that bothered that the waiter kept missing me out on the wine top ups)... Twenty years ago we had a most memorable dinner at a family-owned Italian restaurant in Padova and thought it would be a good idea to dine there again during our recent visit. Only trouble was we could not remember what it was called. Not surprisingly trying to google ‘Italian restaurants’ in Padova was not very helpful. Then, a thought. We... More

The food is amazing all made in house. Get there around 8 for the first course. the second course consists of multiple carts one with roasted meats, and bolito. Worth the visit.

I returned to this restaurant after 40 years. It was worth since finding the same good typical food as years ago. I was not disappointed.

I had a hankering for BOLLITO MISTO , a hearty winter favourite of mine . This place does it very well . My first visit to this local recommended gem. For the uninitiated , Bollito misto is a display of mixed boiled meats served on a trolley from which you may choose what cut of meats you wish to have... More
