I returned to this restaurant after 40 years. It was worth since finding the same good typical food as years ago. I was not disappointed.

I had a hankering for BOLLITO MISTO , a hearty winter favourite of mine . This place does it very well . My first visit to this local recommended gem. For the uninitiated , Bollito misto is a display of mixed boiled meats served on a trolley from which you may choose what cut of meats you wish to have... More

We decided to try this restaurant after finding in on TA and also recommendation from our hotel. We arrived around 7 and it was empty, which concerned us but later realized we were just early for dinner and it was a weeknight. The service was good although there was very litte in the way of "English" assistance, which is fine... More

Food was delicious and staff was extremly frendly, nice and polite. We had pasta and meat for dinner but for antipasti we had the best prosciutto and salami and some salts that were delicious. It was remmendation from our friends who live there and they go there all the time. Definately would go there again when I m in Padua

The restaurant is very big, but classy and stilish. Wonderful choice of wines, appetizers were very tasty, but roasts and bolied meat are outstanding. Enourmous choices, perfect cooked, all served with an impressive service. Very good prices, it's totally worth any penny paid

By far one of the best meals I have had in a very long time! They do a first plate of pasta, which was very good and for the second course it was a meat cart, they bring out multiple different kinds of meats half of which is grilled to perfection and the other half boiled. I was kind of... More

To eat at Da Giovanni is a unique experience - not for vegetarians. The restaurant provides two options for main courses: one a selection of boiled meats, the other a selection of roast meats. This is not a restaurant for the faint hearted although everything is very well prepared and the owner, his wife and the staff and very friendly... More

Giovanni is renowned in the entire Padova province as probably the best restaurant for typical roasts and boiled meats plus a good selection of pastas with a wide variety of sauces to chose from. Again I would also suggest the PASTA E FAGIOLI !!

We never saw a menu, just a friendly waiter and great food. To start you choose one of four pastas and then they bring out all four sauces and you simply enjoy. Then they bring out the equiv. of an Italian carvery with a whole trolley for boiled meats and one for roasted. Vegetables are available, I counted at least... More
