Its one of those restaurants that used to be up there and it has a bit of a name for itself . Its been around for a long time and it shows. These days the food is a bit average and behind the times . The waiters are dressed poorly , old style worn out uniforms , the service is... More

We have visited this restaurant before on our Padova city trip earlier this year in April and we surely didn't want to miss it this time, since our previous visit appeared to be a very good experience. Although it was August, outside dining was not possible to the chilly weather conditions. No problem, we reserved a table in the restaurant... More

Large restaurant with lots of tables outside. Service was good, The primi were very nice indeed but the secondi weren't great. A bit expensive as well.

We ate here for dinner one night in July 2014. We came here because it was recommended in the Rick Steves 2014 guidebook. Walking from the Basilica, this restaurant is on the left-side of the Prato della Valle square (which we did not know, so we made the mistake of walking all the way around the square!). Prices for the... More

We had checked this site for reviews, had a couple places marked on the map, and ended up here. Not a bad meal, slightly above average. Scallops were a little pricy for three, but good. Service was good through out dinner. We had sat for about 10 minutes talking, when I finally asked for the check. We waited. Waited some... More

Covered area directly outside the restaurant overlooking the park, food was good, however the portions were huge. Worth visiting

My husband and I ate here with another friend couple of ours last week. We sat outside with a nice view of Prato. While the location is great, our experience was quite poor. The staff were abrasive, curt, and rude--something we have yet to experience when eating out in Padova. We ordered an appetizer to share, and each individual main... More

This restaurant is well located. The interior complete with dramatic murals and an extraordinary fountain must have been fabulous in the first half of the 20th century. Now it is all looking a bit tired and outdated and the owners seem to have given up, with the interior now a mess of discarded chairs, furniture that should have been retired... More

We recently did a day trip from Venice to Padova and came across this excellent restaurant for lunch. The food was excellent and the service was also of the same standard. This was the best pasta we have had since Sorrento! I would recommend this to anyone visiting this very nice city for a break from the hordes of tourists... More
