We had checked this site for reviews, had a couple places marked on the map, and ended up here. Not a bad meal, slightly above average. Scallops were a little pricy for three, but good. Service was good through out dinner. We had sat for about 10 minutes talking, when I finally asked for the check. We waited. Waited some... More

Covered area directly outside the restaurant overlooking the park, food was good, however the portions were huge. Worth visiting

My husband and I ate here with another friend couple of ours last week. We sat outside with a nice view of Prato. While the location is great, our experience was quite poor. The staff were abrasive, curt, and rude--something we have yet to experience when eating out in Padova. We ordered an appetizer to share, and each individual main... More

This restaurant is well located. The interior complete with dramatic murals and an extraordinary fountain must have been fabulous in the first half of the 20th century. Now it is all looking a bit tired and outdated and the owners seem to have given up, with the interior now a mess of discarded chairs, furniture that should have been retired... More

We recently did a day trip from Venice to Padova and came across this excellent restaurant for lunch. The food was excellent and the service was also of the same standard. This was the best pasta we have had since Sorrento! I would recommend this to anyone visiting this very nice city for a break from the hordes of tourists... More

I've been living in Italy for almost a year and can honestly say that my dish here was among the worst. I had the orecchiette with meatballs and it was incredibly bland; the tomato sauce could've easily come out of a can. The waiter wasn't very friendly. It took a very long time for him to take our order, and... More

I have been to Zairo many times and more recently I was in a group of families including kids. We ate in the pizzeria area, which offers pizza on top of the same selection of food as the restaurant. Kids were happy with their pizzas, while we adults loved the pasta dishes and the tender meat cooked to perfection. Selection... More

The main attraction is the restaurant itself: located in prato della valle, in an historical building it offers a special atmosphere due to the decorations, paintings and sculptures. Food is in the average, nothing special to be recommended but anyway appreciable. Price list lower then expected.
