Excellent meal with reasonable prices

The menu didn't look to unusual at first but the food was quite good with excellent flavors and ingredients. As the name suggests, any dish with porcini mushrooms was outstanding.

Went here as it was the closest choice for a restaurant close to my hotel in north-east Padova. This your true italian family run experience and you can expect both the up- an downsides of the place. The son has true ambitions and knowledge (and speaks english), but the food is native uninspired and basic. Polenta+shrimp. Beef+rocket salad, pasta+sauce. But... More

We had a wonderful meal at this intimate restaurant. Tucked in neighborhood, only one street off a busy road, you will enjoy the quite offered at this family owned establishment. So glad the front desk personnel recommended it!

It's 3 blocks from our hotel and we ate there twice. It does not have a fixed menu as they shop the local markets for the freshest ingredients daily. Meals were outstanding. Very very good pasta's and a wide variety of main courses. Lamb and Veal chops were both exceptional. Party of 4 with 3 courses each person, with house... More

Excellent porchini pasta and incredibly good tiramisu. Nice simple menu, good wine and attentive service. Lots of locals eating there, always a good sign.

Nice family-business-restaurant just a bit outside of the touristic area, not far from the main train station. Reviews do not lie: one of the best place for dinner found in Padua. Great service and great, fresh, local food, a must. Random selection menu....I love that.

Went for lunch. My first course - tagliatelle al ragu was the best example of this dish I have ever tasted. Everything that followed was first rate, and there were a couple of decent locally brewed beers to accompany the meal. Service was prompt and attentive and the bill was most reasonable. One for a return visit.

The service was above and beyond, as although I was with a local who translated some of the menu items, the owner came to the table and translated the ENTIRE menu into english so that I would be able to make an informed decision. The food is exellent, from the antipasto (I recommend the "nido de polenta con porcini"!), to... More

We found it by chance, and we were surprised ! Everything was great! Excellent food!!! Extraordinary housewine !!! Also the treatment from the owner with his explanations about the history of Padua and the restaurant made it complete! A place to be visited, and I'll be back for sure!!!
