Calm, elegant restaurant in a calm, elegant City

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel's receptionist. The food was very good especially the stuffed zucchini flowers and lasagnetta asiagio. It seems to be a favourite place amongst the locals which is always a good sign and I recommend booking in advance. We did that when passing by in the afternoon and it was good we did as all... My wife and I stopped here for lunch and were very pleased we did. The outside setting provided an excellent view of the Prato on a beautiful day. The food was delicious and the service excellent. This was a lucky find as we wandered the streets of Padova.

We walked up to the Trattoria al Pratto without reservations at 20:00 on a Sunday night when all the visible tables were full, a recipe for disappointment. We were greeted warmly and they made up a separate table, equally elegant except for being closer to the walkway than the others and not having the same view of the Piazza Prato... More

The Hotel Belludi (highly recommended) suggested this restaurant when I was there in March and I liked it. I went back in August, and loved it. Beautiful location on the edge of the Prato, pleasant service, excellent food. It is a little expensive, but not for the quality and the service is quiet and competent. I had a glass of... More

We both enjoyed the best meals of a two-week trip to the Veneto at this restaurant, recommended by our hotel. If we weren't embarrassed to reappear, we would have gone there for dinner for a third time! Try the ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers and the gnocchetti with shrimp and pistachios. Paradiso! We also savored the sun-dried tomato topped tuna—a very generous... More

If you went there for lunch, I definitely recommend you to try the lunch set. It costs 15 euro only and the quality is very high too. But please be reminded to pay attention on the blackboard placed at the entrance of the restaurant. If you miss seeing the blackboard, the waiters will only give you the standard menu and... More

The location is excellent with great views. The outside seating was very comfortable. The quality of the food was good but a bit pricey. Our waiter spoke enough English, but when he had trouble answering a question, he brought out an iPad with the menu fully translated.

Over-priced, over-rated. Average quality of food with limited menu. My "roast beef" was mediocre, as was my wife's dinner. I would not return.

Nice location, excellent view, good price, average food, average wine. Cold room during the winter. Service OK.
