Decent Chinese hidden in downtown Padova

Now, as someone who knows Chinese food very well, I have to say that this restaurant has an edge on all the other places I had Chinese at in Italy. I could rate it one step up from all the other restaurants however still a step down from a good one in China. The general taste of the food is... read more

Chinese cuisine, no strange Japanese combo. Costs around 15€ to dine there (20-25€ if you wan to get stuffed with like 6 dishes). Clean environment and nice interior design, friendly efficient staff that understands Italian perfectly. Great variety in the menu with different types of duck recipes (not just Pekin style), various types of dumplings and lots of choice in... More

I'm flabbergasted! On our first visit we were so impressed with impeccable food and attentive service, we decided to repeat our pleasurable experience. I cannot believe the difference! The second visit was a copy of the first, except my wife's food included several chicken bones. She wished that I didn't complain, but I just had to say something to the... More

This was one of the best meals that we had in Padua/Padova. The entrance to the restaurant is very unique. The food was good and it was nice to try a non Italian meal as a change of pace.

3 adults in our party.food was lovely so we ate there two nights. service was diabolical both nights.we were served one dish at the time over the space of an hour you could not get your main courses together. i waited for the other members of our party to be served and hence some of the food was cold.they also... The Restaurant is centrally located with a modern decoration and good lighting as well as air conditioning. Part of the dinning room is built on top of an aquarium which giver a special feeling to the restaurant. The food selection is extense and although unequivocally Chinese is adjusted to the Italian tastes. We went there the first time and were... More

Had lunch there on Sept 14th. Great change of pace. Being from San Francisco the food was surprisingly good.We were able to get our rice fix.Ordering was funny unless you spoke Chinese or Italian. Anyway all the dishes were very tasty.

Somehow I missed the glass floor/koi. I'll look for it next time--and there WILL be a next time! I had lunch here today and the food was delicious (I had the chinese vegetarian fried spaghetti and the duck)--very tasty and decent portions. Total cost for both and a bottle of water (and 'cover charge') was 16.30 euros. This is a... More

We had already read the very positive reviews on Tripadvisor but did not expect such excellence. The decor is tasteful, the atmosphere calm and relaxed, the service fast and the food...EXQUISITE! Light and interesting, with some very unusual dishes for a Chinese restaurant in Italy, where all too often the choice is limited and repetitive. We will definitely return next... More
