Just a minute drive from the center of Courmayeur, it is definetely worth the effort. Absolutely a first class experience. Delightful environment, impeccable, friendly and true expert service. Fresh, local food, offered with elegant presentations that makes all the senses happy. The fontina, the tagliata and the desserts we tested largely exceeded our most optimistic expectations. The free delightful verdicchio... More

We stumbled on this little place in the way back from Italy to the Alps. When everything else was shut this was open. The food was fabulous. Sensible portions, clearly all made on site and with excellent service. We enjoyed pasta with venison ragu, and risotto with squash and foie gras. The retake on tiramisu was stunning. Complimentary digestifs were... More

Following all the excellent reviews of this restaurant on tripadvisor ... it was good but not fantastic for the records .... unfortunately I have to say that we were all slightly disappointed (+3 other friends). The food is good but not over the top ... The names on the menu look more sofisticated than what it actually is. We had... More

We where five having the full menu, and everything was top notch, from the very friendly staff to the absolutely fabulous meat. It was all very well rounded with a cold sorbet, grappa and an espresso. All five of us was very, very happy with the evening, and I would recommend it highly to anyone in Courmayeur who wants an... Only 200 yds from our hotel, we almost felt we were being a bit lazy going here rather than venturing to the Via Roma. We arrived at 7pm (on spec'), there was room, but we were early. the saff were great, made us welcome, and plied us with the house wine. Our Meal was good, and the service friendly -... More

The menu is limited, the meat was very good. The wines were good even though the waiter served us the first bottle without letting us either see the label or taste the wine first. Not very correct on his part. The waiter was rude. Sadly this kind of put us off so I feel as if the It was expensive... More

I've been trying to eat in this place for a few years, based on a recommendation, but whenever I've been in the area, typically during the ski season, it's been fully booked for days ahead. So passing through in the off season was an ideal opportunity to try it & it was excellent. The chef/owner greeted us, discussed the meal... More

We ate here the two nights that we were in Courmayeur and we weren't disappointed either time. The ambience was great as was the service, which was done by the owner. We had several of their dishes and loved them all. I definitely recommend the fondue and the foie gras as appetizers. The house wines were also very tasty. It... More
