Best prosecco and deck chairs on the mountain

We loved this place. Finished every day here with a beer and prosecco. The food was delicious and the service first class. Recommended to everyone in our hotel. The fur rugs on the deck chairs made it extra cosy.

We had lunch downstairs and were very impressed by the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Excellent flavours of the food and the meat was cooked to perfection. We were staying at Argentiere and had come to Courmayeur for just one day. We made the decision to come back again the next day so we could eat in this... More

Took the lift up the restaurant in the evening. Nice walk to the restaurant on the slope. The restaurant is very modern and very bright, which doesn't make it very cozy. There was only 3 different starters, primis, secondis etc to choose between, which is a rather limited selection. This can be fine, but you then expect really tasty courses.... More

We ate in the top bistro section of this restaurant perched in an idyllic location on the slopes. We liked it so much the first time when we managed to get an outside table that we booked for another lunch. We were promised the private room with the big window but on arrival, didn't get it as our uber friendly... More

La chaumiere is on the slopes. You can get there by foot. The top floor is a family friendly restaurant with pizza, hamburgers and roast chicken etc. It is well worth booking a table on the terrace if its sunny (and warmish). The ground floor is the more sophisticated restaurant with amazing food and views. They also have outdoor tables... More

This restaurant is good, for a number of reasons, one the location, two, the views from the outside or inside tables and the gourmet restaurant is downstairs while the express lunch bar is upstairs on another sun terrace. The interior design is rustic yet modern and functional with great kitchen and bar area. The wine they recommended was value but... More

Arrived on 1st visit after making a reservation to be told there was no table for at least 15 minutes. Got table, had antipasti, onion soup and a carafe of wine, all excellent. On the strength of this we booked again for the next day. We turned up next day only to find the guilty guy had lost our reservation.... More

We've had 2 delicious lunches with our 2 children (13 & 11) this week. We didn't book even though it's recommended but we were found great tables outside on the terrace with spectacular views. Gourmet food - all courses were excellent. Fabulous wine - served perfectly. Faultless service - v welcoming and efficient. Prizewinning tiramisu.

The restaurant offers amazing views and a trendy setting with good service in comparison to some other gourmet places on the slopes. Unfortunately my arctic char was totally overcooked and uninspired and the starter of goat cheese would not make it to best five, at least to me warm goat cheese is supposed to be a bit caramelised not soggy,... Great pit stop with rustic food and feel good vibes and would go back anytime when skiing close by. Not a large menu but they know what they are doing with that formula. We felt well looked after and would recommend this haunt highly
