A truly delightful experience staying at this homely hotel. There were 3 families (we had 5 rooms) and staff were always accommodating and friendly. Food is divine - from buffet to the al a carte. Lots of fresh food and fancier/rich selections too. We were there for Christmas 2013 so a very special atmosphere with a guest appearance from Santa!... More

I have to admit I ate every night at hotel hermitage just because I stayed at the hotel itself, but I know for sure, that if I will ever visit Cervinia again without staying at this Relais-Chateau Hotel ( slim chance..) I will defiantly opt for the hotel's restaurant as the tastiest, most elegant dinner in town..! The variety of... More

The chef cooks table side and the cuisine is very international. Loved the escalloped potatoes and the beef filet with foie gras sauce.

Hotel Hermitage was one ofteh hotels we had dinner at during our stay in Cervinia. The food was excellent and the Sommelier was very knowledgeable. It was great to dress up a bit on a skiing holiday to have a pleasant meal out. Our flambe melas were expertly prepared at our table side and the desserts on offer were really... More

Walking into La Chandelle restaurant at the Hotel Hermitage, you could be entering a different age of Alpine holidays. This, I imagine, is what 19thC winter visitors to St Moritz were used to: a formal room in dark wood, liveried waiters, stiff napery, silver platters, dim lighting. (The stereo playing chart music thus seemed rather incongruous.) We were greeted by... More

We have returned to the Hotel Hermitage every year for the past 7 years. That's how much we like it there. The restaurant, La Chandelle, is elegant, but the atmosphere is warm and very friendly. The food is an wonderful example of excellently prepared local cuisine. The staff is professional and the service is well coordinated. You are in good... More
