The rifugio guide cervino is one of the top addresses in Zermatt when skiing. The team offers excellent italian food and wine and this at 3400 meters above sea level! The restaurant has 2 sections, the lower level is the place to go for connaisseurs. Booking is essential at winter weekends. Atmosphere: very casual and cosy places, can even be... More

A rather simple place on the edge between Cervinia and Zermatt. The food was OK and the staff were nice and efficient.

Today with blue sky and no wind, the restaurant at 3500 m level, offers breathtaking views. The goulash soup was very tasty and with lots of big meat pieces. The forest fruit pie-cake looked delicious but was too sweet.

10 euros for wurst and chips and it arrived quickly. But of an odd serving system that you pay one person and then give your ticket to someone else who serves you your food.

Great food and atmosphere but beware the toilets are not the best and they can run of water for flushing the toilets. That is the only downside, otherwise I would have rated it very good.

Given it's location (at 3,400m), this restaurant is excellent. We went on a Sunday and it was crowded, but they managed to fit everyone in and we had some great food (recommend the steaks) and an excellent wine selection. The service was fast, friendly and personal. Highly recommended.

Had lunch here and I would recommend it. I had pasta and a bier and it was good and service friendly. View is of course spectacular.

Rooms have about 5-7 bunk beds, small but nice. Everything is provided, just not sure how often the bed sheets get washed I would go with not very often. Great dinner and breakfast and the host makes the best Tiramisu. Sleeping at that altitude is not for everyone as breathing becomes not that easy.
