One of my favourite mountain restaurants

Chalet Etoile is a regular lunch stop on our annual ski trips to Cervinia. We have never eaten in the formal restaurant inside but it gets pretty busy. We eat in the the less formal area and tuck into hearty bowls of goulash soup and pasta etoile. Its a great place to call into on a chilly day... read more

Absolutely fantastic food, nice atmosphere and when it's sunny, sitting outside overlooking the snowy scenery is priceless.

Fantastic restaurant off blue run 6, so easy for all ability skiers to acess. The food is fabulous and reasonably priced. Very busy so pre booking is essential. When we booked unlike previous reviewers we did not have to wait. The staff were curtious and friendly. We even met skiers from Zurmat who ski over to eat here. A must... More

Try the restaurant they have great plates, and very fast service, perfect to keep skiing, it was one of the best meals we had while in Cervinia, bad thing that they are in the middle of the mountain and I don't know if they are open for dinner. We went there twice, and would repeat it every day. The best... More

Had such high expectations for this place, to bad it did not live up to this at all.. Please note that it's "always" full in the restaurant so you have to book in advance if you want to take the risk of eating here. We had booked a table quite early (12:30) but still needed to wait for quite a... More

Visited here lots if times, great for long lunch particularly, inside on a snowy day and outside in the sun, both good. Perfect for hot chocolate stop too.

Ate in the restaurant a few times. Service was always very prompt despite it being busy. The food was lovely and we were not disappointed. Pasta dishes from 14 euros, and the house wine quite nice. On busy days I'd recommend booking a table.

A restaurant situated perfectly for a nice lunch on the slopes. Food is a mix of Classic Italian with an Asian touch.. Like or not, we found it very well. Wine card very nice with price from 20 euros and up.. Something for everyone. Plates were fine and tasteful. The reason for not giving it a 4 or 5 is... More

This restaurant has two parts: 1) a more casual, order-at-the-counter portion up front, where the food looked delicious and the prices were extremely cheap, especially compared to the Swiss side; 2) a sit down, more formal (yet still rustic and comfortable) meal in the back, with some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Service was prompt despite... More
