A lovely mountain restaurant just above plan maison. Lots of candles, rugs, deer heads on the walls etc. Great menu ( I had the insalata chèvre chaud which was delicious) and although slightly more expensive than other rstaurants not too bad. We have booked to go again - very important to book as its understandably busy.

The restaurant is super cosy, fast service and organised. My favorite on slopes! Typical Italian Aosta dishes with candles, wood, old skis and mountain atmosphere. Plenty to try as all dishes are very nice. The day we were there it was a foggy day so not too crowded but I am sure when it's sunny or school holidays you must... More

We ate lunch twice here during our mountain hikes. The setting is absolutely sublime, with spectacular views of the Matterhorn and other surrounding mountains, and it's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Both days we ate outdoors which was terrific. The service is very friendly, the food very good (for what you'd expect at a mountain... More

We were very very lucky to get a table without booking when on a day trip from Zermatt. The service was quite slow but with the amount of people they were serving it's a wonder they managed to keep track of all the orders! A crisp chilled bottle of rosé took the edge off the wait. This is the best... More

The food here is amazing and not to be missed! It's only accessible from the piste so you do have to ski to it, but the runs down to it are easy. It gets very busy so it is important to book in advance.

Just by the side of the piste a great stop for the toilet and a warm drink and/or bite to eat. Toilets unusually at ground/piste level. Unusaul, but welcome.

One of the busiest, because it's one of the best. Food is excellent and so is the wine. This restaurant will not suit those wanting pasta/pizza/chips/beer as the food is more sophisticated that that with excellent fish soups, vongole, carpaccio and the like, although I had the excellent pasta etoile which was baked pasta with a lot of cheese and... Half way up the slopes with a huge deck, formal dining, plus a bar with the same standard of food in a simpler, cheaper setting. Fabulous food, rather chaotic service, excellent value for quality and location. Not to be missed.

One of my favorite meals on our trip to Zermatt and Cervinia. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and one dish in particular - a tower of tuna carpaccio, artichoke mousse, and Sardinian crackers - is the kind of dish I know I'll be dreaming about long after our trip is over. The space is incredibly charming but it's the... More

Fabulous location with lovely views. Very good food and friendly, helpful staff. An ideal place to relax after a busy morning's skiing.
