we found this restaurant quiet by chance as its nestelled beside several outdoor shops off the high street. It's exterior & menu was very inviting so we gave it a go. Very pleased we did. It has a very intimate atmosphere & wasn't too busy. Cosy wooden interior surrounded by old fashioned mountain parafanalia. The service was top class, the... More

We dined several evenings at the Maison de Saussure (please correct the Tripadvisor mistake in the spelling of the name). Dinner was enjoyable, limited choice of dishes but each one very well prepared. We had the chance to be advised by the sommelier, Lorenzo, about Italian and local wines and enjoyed his advice at a reasonable cost. Atmosphere of the... More

A small and cosy restaurant, perfect for couples or a a maximum of four people. We we advised that this restaurant had the best fondue in Cervinia, and it didn't disappoint. We chose the Savoyarde Foundue, which has three local cheeses, accompanied by selected prosciutto from the region Served in a friendly and attentive manner, made the night memorable. Would... More

Maison de Sausurre has deginately the best steak (with Gorgonzola) in Cervinia. We had five different portions and the rest were average in taste and quality. The staff was really friendly and the wine list was ok priced (no big wines on the list).

7 of us visited on 30th November the restaurant was not busy but it was the beginning of the season. After a hard days skiing we were all in the mood for good food and unfortunately we were ripped off and served poor quality food. Two of our group ordered the rack of lamb after seeing another dinners 4 rib... More

Should have abandoned ship when we saw the menu, expensive individual main and side dishes, poor service.

Quaint little homely restaurant, but beware, with that you get mamma serving you, with as much knowledge about local wines as your mum might have, and perhaps your teenage brother in the kitchen with as little skill as he might have. Very expensive top tier prices, superb sounding menu, we thought we were in for a treat, not what it... More

The Maison de Saussure is an attrative little restaurant with a menu that surgests a great dinning experience. A meai for 4 with only a cheap £22.00 bottle of wine and a shared dessert between us was £210.00, down stairs in the Copa Pan restaurant you pay a similar price but recieve better food, wine, service and ambience. My partner... More
